L’Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante at Epcot's Italy Pavilion will be changed to Tutto Italia on 9/1/07. The Patina Restaurant Group will taking over operation of the restuarant on that date. The restaurant is scheduled to close sometimes in the spring of 2008 for a refurbishment and will reopen in either fall or early winter 2008.

Yes. If you go to any major city in Italy, you will probably see as many pizza shops as you would in Manhattan. They are just rectangular and sold by weight. All sorts of varieties too! A little different than you would find stateside, but unmistakeably pizza nonetheless. What you won't find in Italy are meatballs.

They sell hotdogs from ecoli carts in every major city in America, I sure hope we're not identified by that though.

What really kills me is that we actually saw some Pizza Hut shops in Italy. I really don't understand that marketing genius.
We will probably get to WDW in late October, so I'll make it a point to try out the transitional menu at Tutto Italia.

Just got back from our trip and we walked into this rest.. w/o ressies on Thursday for lunch. Food is exceptional..service is also exceptional.....I will go out of my way to return. The antipasto platter is a highpoint.. dont miss it if you can
There resturant at DTD west was nice, but ridiculously priced even for Disney. The Uva bar isn't too bad though.

We just got back from a great weekend at the F&WF. We were able to walk in Sat night with a party of 8 which really blows my mind. I gotta say, they are hands down better now. They have removed many tables and now you can walk through the dining room without having to get intimate with fellow diners. The dishes were all superb and the wait staff was very professional (and Italian).
