Are there any Character Warehouse or Disney Outlet Stores near Disneyland? I will be flying and taking the Disneyland Express to the motel, so I won't have a car. Also have my niece who won't have a carseat or booster. Is there one you can walk to? Would the ART buses go near one?

Thanks

There's one in Fullerton off Harbor/Orangethorpe. You would have to take an OCTA bus. You can also obtain a 10% coupon from the Anaheim Visitors Bureau online. You can find more information by searching for AMS Liquidation.

Do you know approx. how long it would take by bus?

It's only about a 10 minute drive, so it probably wouldn't take much longer than that if you're going by bus.

You want "Harbor & Katella" to "Harbor & Orangethorpe" which looks to be about 20 minutes. The bus stop is on the northeast corner (steps from an In N Out Burger, by the way), and the Character Warehouse is at the east side of the Orangefair Mall, which is the south and east of Harbor & Orangethorpe.

Personally I don't think it's worth the trouble, but combined with an In N Out Burger (or a stop at Ruby's Cafe - s/w of H&O) might make it worthwhile. ;)

I do have to agree...the Character Warehouse in Fullerton is ok. I mean they have some really great deals on some (not many though) collectibles. I was there yesterday with the intention of finding some little things to give my son's friends. I think I only found 2 things that were worth giving to them and at a discount. Personally, I found the other temporary locations to have more items.

So would I have to transfer buses to get to the Character Warehouse?

So would I have to transfer buses to get to the Character Warehouse?Nope, take #43 all the way there. Be sure to tell the driver where you want to get off (Orangethorpe) - you can't see the Character Warehouse from the bus. If you see a train station you've gone too far. ;)

So, wait a minute...are you saying that you can ask the bus driver to stop other than where there are scheduled stops?

Oh, never mind--I just looked at the OCTA link and saw that Orangethorpe IS a scheduled stop. :rolleyes1

I'm glad you guys can figure out the map. Hopefully, it's because you live around there or have visited lots!

So, you don't think it is worth going to get T-shirts and other gifts?
It looks like they are open until 9pm every night except Sunday. Does anyone know if the hours will change in Sept.?
