I agree. I was in the room when he was being so rude to Kat. He sees to keep talking in circles about the whole thing. It's like when someone is saying:
"No I didn't"
and someone else says:
"Yes, you did"
and they go on and on until one or the other tries to turn the tables and make the other person say they did it and then frame them.

If he told one story and kept everything consistent, which he never did, then maybe people could believe him. However, the stories he has told, and the things he still has.. the information still points to him.

I tried to enter the room today. As soon as I got in, I got an automatic boot. Had he not been involved in my scam, he would not act in this manner.

This is ridiculous. I have sent several contact us messages, reported this kid, and called into VMK headquarters, with absolutely no response from VMK about this issue. We know he's guilty, He knows he's guilty, and I bet VMK Staff know he is guilty.

21 pages later and my jaw is on the floor. I'm gone less than a week, and I come back to find this? What kind of person does something like this?!?! To think that someone like this arrogant, selfish, thieving cheater is on our boards makes me sick. I'm shocked and saddened at the fact that he remains free on VMK. To all who have been scammed and hurt by this two-faced (or apparently multi-faced) scammer, I offer not only my condolences, but also any help that I can provide. I may not have very much in terms of credits or rare, but I'll try to help where I can. It's times like these where we need to stay together as a community, and support each other. I consider many of you on these boards my friends, even though I may not have had the pleasure of meeting you in the everyday world. And I am NOT a forgiving person if you mess with my friends. I've said it before on these boards and I'll say it again now. Karma has a way of coming around and biting you where it truly hurts...

I got the chance to see what he was up to last night in the room pictured on the last page. I'm was kind of suprised that he was using the CL to do the trade, but then again a lot of people who I knew in there all know he's up to something and that last night was an attempt on his part to show that a CL did do the trade. I have no idea what he is trying to prove, but he is becoming the biggest "Star" in VMK right now with all the talks he is creating and probably he likes it.

As for today, I have no idea what he is up too. Should I even ask?

He was back on this morning in one of his rooms that was filled with buyables. He was laughing and telling everyone how poor he now is (he wore a pirate had and no rare clothes on.) I think he meant that he had traded all his rare to his other accounts in case he got banned. At one point he said he had been banned (must have been for just a couple of hours if he was) and that he thought it was funny, then later told someone else that it made him mad. He has a group of followers that were in and out of the room, a couple from Dis who were obviously still friends with him.

I thought VMK's rule was if your banned you are not allowed back on with another character, thus your circumventing there ban. Once again VMK is picking favorites and not applying the rules to everyone.

Sadly it seems that way. If they don't start changing things its just going to get worse. Not only with this guy but with others. There will be those that see this and decide to do the same things and end up allowed on with other toons. VMK really has to stop playing favorites or whatever they call it. And I would really hope that they didn't believe the stories this guy feeds everyone. :confused: I'm annoyed at how it seems some here have been treated lately over stupid things or being scammed somehow themselves and yet its ok for the bad apples to run around still. :confused3 :sad2:

I agree completely. Scammer need to start getting serious consequences for what they've done to people. Sure it may seem harsh to some, but it would be a lesson learned.

Taking his side that is your choice because you may believe he is being framed. However, if you know he has been banned and is going around this ban you are in the wrong there. And you could be reported for not reporting him. Something to think about.

Thats like, EXACTLY what i think. Just ban all the computers in his house that share the IP he scammed people on. But then we cant stop him when he gets a new computer. So the only thing to do is find out, if its Riser on a new character. You can tell if its somebody by they're title, signature, and actions.

Jazz, I am not an attorney and would not want to weigh in on that legally but I will find out, as far as I know they are not hacking into anything you computer has a recognizable id just like a fingerprint and they can ban that, from what I understand of it.

You just block their MAC address or IP address from entering your site. It's no trojan, it's common information.

I think there is a way to ban it like Mal said. It should be done that way. Its not harsh. If any person that scams or breaks the rules to the point that they get a ban that is for more then a few hours or a day then yes it should be a ban of the computer(s) that person uses to log into the game. Otherwise you see them back on in no time at all. So what does that tell other players that find out about this person? It says basically "its ok go ahead and scam people....get banned and hey there are ways to get around that with no problems." Not right at all. And its really not right at all to those that are scammed.

I was wondering about this too. I haven't seen the person in game at all and have no clue what his other names are in the game. But really if they are found out he should be reported. ESPECIALLY if he is banned on one name..or more. And those that cover for the person should be as well given a ban.

I remember Yavn speaking up in a newsletter about how it angers them that people dont report a user who is on another account when they are banned. If anyone knows it to be true, I hope they do the right thing.

If you "think" you know dont report it, but if you know for sure, no doubt. Use contact us and give the details or report in game with the appropriate information.

I'm sure there's a long trail of scams involving all his characters. And there may be a lot of cross checking of IP's to see which IP's he's used as well.

I also hope they look carefully at any player who has gotten a nice one-sided trade with one of his characters. If he went into a Corner Bakery with free wifi and used a "clean" IP address to complete a few Ned pin for inferno trades, that new account should be roundfiled, too.

I'm glad to hear the update. However, I have seen him still on VMK laughing it up with his friends, about how "silly it is" that people think he's guilty. The best side of me wants to believe he is telling the truth, but I know he is not, and something should be done about it.

It would be great if it were that easy, but unfortuantely the number of people on VMK vs the number of Dissers who are onto him greatly differ. :(

Pixiedust to the mods and people working at VMK so they make the right decision on what to do with this poor soul. I think that he deserves the biggest sentence that a VMK'er could possibly get! Although I already feel that his punishment has begun by betraying lots on the DIS boards and many here losing their trust and friendship with him - to me that is a lot of punishment in and of itself. Because he has lots of other characters and he knows how to change his IP. It wouldn't really solve the problem of him scamming people.

As of yesterday he was still on his main account. I didn't report, because are we sure that he was banned? (We know he should be, but was he?) I don't want to get in trouble for sending in a false report if he's not really banned.

Glad they are looking into it but does it need to be repeatable to end up banned for this sort of action? As was mentioned, I can imagine it is taking time to deal with this all because of all the characters he made. Sadly how many more is he still scamming right now though because he isnt' gone? I do hope they delete every toon they can find of his. This way he won't have that stuff and even if he was to change the ip he would have nothing since they would be gone. I really hope though they take more action then this and make it so he is not allowed on at all. As well as anyone else who decides to try to be like that guy. :sad2:

I spit on people like that (ok not really but I will if that stops them.) Low lifes like that should burn and rot in forever burning flames.
