Best Discount in Last 2 Years ??

Thinking about discounts has made me wonder - what do you think has been the best discount over the last 2 years? (AP, Packages, Percentages, etc.) :confused:

I realize that this is very subjective, but I am still curious. Personally, I have had free dining in 2005 and 2006, which DH enjoyed very much. In 2004, we got a great postcard rate, which I can't remember how much off.

So, what are you thoughts?? :crazy:

Free dining during value season is hard to beat. We did a 4 day trip druing free dining last year because we only paid about $70 for the room at AS-Sports a night and got a great deal on the flight. Considering it saved us $233 right off the bat in food, plus a lot more if you add up what we actually spent at TS restaraunts, we felt we got a spectacular deal.

I did get a post card for moderates which I used during our June 2005 week trip at POFQ. It allowed us to stay in a king waterview room for $105. It was a great room and view so to us, it was an amazing deal.

This March we got upgraded to OKW from POP due to overbooking Easter week. We paid $130 a night for a $500+ a night 1-bedroom. Overall, that had to be the best deal in terms of everything we got. I'd never be able to pay full price for a DVC resort. I'd probably rent points during a value season, especially with kids. However, that room was AMAZING and our view was INCREDIBLE and the resort was GORGEOUS!!!!!!
