FYI,
The 1900 Park Fare meals have been moved to Grand Floridian Cafe during free DDP.
I made a reservation yesterday at 1900 Park Fare dinner with Cinderalla. I was told that 1900 Park Fare is under renovation and our meal will be at Grand Floridian Cafe with the same characters!

Just to clarify, it's not moved because of free dining, but because 1900 PF is being refurbed. The characters will be the same but the restaurant will have a menu rather than buffet. I don't care for buffets, so I'm actually happy to be going during the refurb, LOL.

Enjoy the plated meal!
We went a few years ago on a Friday night in August...POURED RAIN too! It was a small buffet, but with great stuff. The kids buffet was lower and separate, more in the middle of the floor (ie. adults could see what they were doing there). I ate off both and thoroughtly enjoyed the meal and my 5yo princess cousin's joy!
We are vegetarians, fish OK, so buffets give us a chance at choice and sufficient volume, we love them! So I would wait for a return to 1900 PF.

Yes, good point. The 'new' menu certainly won't offer the variety that a buffet would. I felt choices for adults were pretty good, but there are only two options on the kids menu, pasta and chicken strips. That's fine for my DD, she isn't the least bit picky, but I know plenty of kids who wouldn't want either of those two things. Also, there was only one vegetarian entree that I recall, tofu. The other adult entrees included pork, chicken, prime rib, shrimp and proscuitto pasta, and something else I think.
