It was postponed. :( He posted this in his party thread a little while ago:

Well unfortunately, I just got off the phone with my surgeons office and due to some changes in insurance rules and poor record keeping on the part of my general practitioner, my gastric bypass has now been postponed until December 10th. It seems that insurance now wants 6 months worth of trial weight loss and my general practitioner can only find 4 months worth of documentation. So now i have switched GPs and was fortunate enough to get an appt for tomorrow morning to begin a new trial weight loss. I am still having the BYpass but since insurance wont pay for it until after I do the trial, it has been postponed until December 10th

Sorry i didn't see this thread until now. Here is the link of the thread where grumpy posted exactly what happened. It is indeed postponed until December. He has been busy lately with doctors appointments and family things but he is doing fine. He will be so tickled you all asked about him.
