Avis & the 1/5 cruisers

I wondered if anyone else on this board had a problem with Avis on their 1/5 trip.

Things ran smoothly on the way to the ship. On the return it was a bit crazy. Long lines for the shuttle which resulted in people fighting over getting on the shuttle first. It got pretty ugly once between a few groups. DH & I were in no hurry, so we just hung out & let everyone else duke it out.

I wondered if anyone else from here had a similar problem that day. Heck, we could have been standing in line next to each other.

The Budget van was pretty empty & looking for business. Could be because of their higher rates. I just wondered if Avis was so busy because of this board - maybe?????

Sometimes, people who are staying/parked at the radisson use the avis vans as well? Maybe this was why the long delay??

Actually, we kept seeing the Radisson van empty & wondered if we could take it back to pick up our rental!

Yes! When we went on 9/29 Magic, there was room on the avis van, so the driver said come on and ride with us and we drove down!
