Has anyone bought 1 share in Disney?

I am thinking of buying '1 Disney share' as a prezzy for my wife. Has anyone done this? What other benefits do you get? Would you reccommend it? :confused3

DH bought me one for my birthday last month. It arrived last week and is in a lovely frame and looks absolutely fabulous on the wall! :wizard:

I guess I will get a dividend but as it will be in $$ and probably only a few cents it will be worthless to me. :rotfl: The share was bought as a picture rather than an investment!

DD has got one. Only recently so we just have the certificate :goodvibes

She spends much of her time debating what part of Disney she owns :)

We got DS one share in Marvel at the same time. The certificate isn't as exciting

DH bought one for me a couple of years ago.

It is framed and on the wall in the study ~ I also get financial reports and shareholders information. Although it looks so boring I've never actually read it.

I got one for my DW a few years ago - it's hanging in a nice frame on our hall wall (I just ordered the plain paper frame from OneShare and then got it framed professionally at a local art place - a bit cheaper and it looks great).

The yearly financial reports and shareholders information makes an interesting read (you can go to the annual shareholders meeting if you wish!) - but don't expect to retire on the dividends LOL

DW bought me a share for xmas a few years back, It's really nicely framed but she was stung for the import duty on it, which made it fairly expensive.
