OK this is my first time doing this. I think I have bored the girls at work now for well over a month talking about disney. So I need people like me that are excited to read about disney. The girls at work think I am obsessing over this trip, I have a Three inch binder full with WONDERFUL INFOMATION that I have gotten from this wonderful website which I found total by accident,(the best mistake I have ever made.) We are going for 10 days Dinner package PH + Fun option = MY VACATION:disrocks:
A little history of US
Who's going
My Mom:earsgirl: - grandma goes everywhere with us plus Grandma and I are spliting cost

Me- :santa: Stephanie I have been to WDW twice once when I was 7 (I took MY MOM tell ya bout that one later) and then again when I was 27.

DH - :coffee: Stephen - has been once before isn't planning on anything special this time JUST PLANS ON NO HEADACHES:headache:

DD- princess: Lucy will be 13 going on 30... DRAMA QUEEN:rolleyes: I WOULD GUESS THAT WE WILL HAVE A DRAMA FEST ATLEAST ONCE A DAY. Otherwise this will be her second trip

DS- Charlie- :hyper: was 7 yesterday6/16/07 was recently diagnosis with type 1 Diabetes, this will be a challange for us to eat out every night with him. I do see some really high numbers and some really low ones too hopefully many around normal. Zac went when he was 11months old and swears he remembers EVERYTHING! Thank god for Video's that is how he REMEMBERS!

DS- Linus will be five and I am so excited that he should be tall enough for every ride but ROCKING ROLLERCOASTER. I have told him that he needs to eat and drink MILK and I will be hanging him upside down in the closet to stretch him. He is mostly looking for spiderman:charac4: But this is his first trip and first plane ride, moms nervous about that one.

These aren't their real names but their NICK NAMES and I am not a peanuts fan, just happened to be what I call them! linus still has his blanket that he carries all over with him

Great pre-TR! It's my dream to go to WDW at Christmas so I will be reading religiously! Your trip seems like the trip of a lifetime - it's going to be so awesome!! I almost booked Hoop De Doo for my upcoming trip in October so I can't wait to hear how you like it!

That's so funny about your daughter being a drama queen! I remember I went to WDW with my parents when I was that age and I was all like "GAWD, this is most uncool thing ever!" My, how I've changed. :rotfl2:

Are you going to do Very Merry Christmas Party at MK? That seems like a MUST to me!

Well she is excited about the trip but she is still the ULTRA DRAMA QUEEN she will find something to drama about. We won't be doing the MVMCP only because it the last night for it is the night before we get there.:sad2: And then I found out that the thing the I looked forward to the most was the BIG CHRISTMAS PARADE was film in early Dec. Wasn't happy! But we are going for the fun of being together. (hopefully). Let hope that I can get all my ARD"S I have the alarm set for that AM Hopefully I won't have to call daily for that week to get them.

Ok so I said earlier how I brought my DM to Disney! Here is how
I was 6 1/2 years old and going to a catholic school and I wasn't catholic
( 1st strike against me) my grandfather owned a local Bar ( 2nd strike) During the Superbowl of 82 there were a few squares left open in the superbowl pool at his bar, Since he coun't add his own name to it he put in $ and put my names on it. I think it was forth quater and My DM woke me up mind you I was 6 1/2, and told me I won! NOPE didn't register because i was ALSEEP. The next morning I was told again I was all excited! I went in and told NUNs that I had Won the superbowl POOL at the bar.... they weren't happy. By Fall my grandfather and his golf buddies who had NICKNAMED themselves the MAFIA had decided to go to Disney to go GOLFING. I went to school and told the NUNS that I was going to DISNEY on the $ I won with my grandfather and the MAFIA. (strike Three) There was a call place home and to my grandparents tHEY HAD TO EXPLAIN WHAT I MEANT AND THAT ALL WAS HARMLESS. really I was going with a bunch of fity year old guys and their families. So there is the story! Not Much bt boy did those NUNS think it was

That story about Disney and the nuns is HYSTERICAL
Although your mother probably didn't think so at the time... I can't even imagine how I would feel trying to explain all that to the nuns! :lmao:

I also have a DD13 going on 30 drama queen... luckily for me, she loves all things Disney (well, she loves the characters, the shows and the food, and the kiddie rides... Our last trip I offered her $25 for every roller coaster she went on... she went on none! She still has a great time)

Your plans sound wonderful! I always say we are going to try Universal or Seaworld... and no matter how long we go for, we just can't drag our butts outta Disney!

It sounds like you are doing just great without help! How long have you been planning?
I believe the MVMCP is actually what you will have during your week there, but you will have it all week (without the snow on Main street and free cookies and cocoa) but the shows that are performed are the same... at least that's what I thought I read!

So I have 185 more days till I leave for DISNEY.... THAT NOT THAT FAR WAY IS IT? :confused3 I can't wait to make my ADR's I can start monday morning whoo hoooo!:woohoo: I hope that they will let me make just more than the first day, That would mean I would have to call every morning (Just when I thought I could start sleeping in.....)
So I worked a new shift today and never NOT EVEN ONCE did I mention DISNEY, MICKY MOUSE, WDW I think the girls on my own shift would be proud of me for shutting up for eight hours about it or jealouse that the day shift didn't have to hear detail over detail of my trip.
Heavenleigh I too have eveything in my binder and everything is covered in plastic report covers. I have come to the conclusion that I am treating my trip binder like the old lady that lived beside my grandmother treated her couch. She had a white velvet couch which had a plastic cover over it a clear plastic cover... maybe like a dust cover, but i don't ever remember it ever coming off. I too have everything in the binder except my plane tickets. those are in the safe.
Well off to bed to DREAM OF DISNEY!

Heavenleigh asked me about how long I have been planning so here it is.

Our Disney Trip The Planning Stages (that is what my binder says)
So about a year and a half ago my DM said Lets go back to Disney and of course I love the heat So I was like sure why not when? was the question. She said that she wanted to go for Christmas:santa: and I was NO NO NO NO! I said the kids don't understand about Santa and if we are paying for a trip then there isn't going to be MUCH MONEY for gifts and then there is packing them and all that stuff. I was NOT going for xmas, the day after would be fine. MY DM started finding shows for Disney for around the holidays and calling me saying Oh there is a Disney Holiday special on the Food network WATCH IT! So after watching Raven for the forth time I was convinced To GO! So as we discussed it we thought about my cousin way out in WY her DS's were the same age as mine. So we called her and had her in on the trip, too I was like there we can do a magical gathering... MORE PERKS! Then I talked to my DB and Step mom and they mentioned going too! I was like More the Merrier. Now I was EXCITED!:woohoo: My whole family from both sides were going. Even mentioned it to my best friend but I couldn't sell her. So Now I had downloaded the magical gathering site and there was going to be a total of 15 of us wandering around together I was very excited. Christmas with the entire family was just to good to be true! Exactly! To good to be true. So by January 07 I was talking to everyone about this and one by one they all dropped out first my brother and his girlfriend said she wants to take him there on their HONEYMOON, They hadn't even been dating for 8 months He HADN"T EVEN PREPOSED(spl) And she was talking about a honeymoon, they were out. Next Step Mom said she couldn't afford it FINE I SAID just don't let me see you go to ARUBA for a year then! She goes yearly! Next I gave my cousin a time that she needed to decide by. I said I am going to make reservations in March Please let me know by MARCH 15. Well she called one day and said that it was going to be to much money they own a ranch, Not doing so well with it! and taking off two weeks would mean that they had to hire someone to take care of all the animals, etc etc.. They weren't going! I said WEll don't go for the full ten days fly out the day after Christmas and join us for the last half of the trip . Well maybe Let me think ... Yeah Right! She wasn't going either . Then The Step SON 15 1/2 was asked if he was going and he said NAW He would stay home with his MOMMY! WHAT A MOMMA'S BOY The child has never been out of the region till we finally got him to go to Boston with us for a family Picnic down the cape! He has been maybe four time, now he has the attidude BEEN THERE DONE THAT, so he stays home. WHAT A BORE!
So my trip went for planning for 15 people to just the 6 of us now! So in April I started Loking at all my possibilties and writing things down, and of course watching any show that came on the travelchannel about disney. not only have I watched them once but like four or Five times. I took notes from those shows and then started making an itenery on WDW site. Then I found this site! WOW! I found out that the :santa: BIG CHRISTMAS:santa: parade wasn't on christmas mornig  But I don't care now, I am just glad to be going. We finally made our reservations on May 12!!!!:woohoo: And just so you know I called and ASKED EVERYONE again if they were sure that they weren't going! The only one that gave me a second thought before saying NO again was the Cousin from WY! She said well maybe we will surprise you! Yeah RIGHT! was my thought but I said PLEASE DO! So I did research on restaurants and decided what parks we are doing on what days and went from there on planning meals I just planned our ts meals and figure the counter service we could wing that! But any how that is my trip planning well part of it any how! I will continue another time for the rest of it! :happytv: Stay TUNEDpopcorn::

ok I know that I am supposed to eat at the whispering canyon cafe I think I said whispering pine not sure where that came from???? Well anyway back to my question... Is it any good? I was reading the menu and it didn't seem all that good. I am making my ADR on Monday and I am second guessing my desisions (spl) Am I making a mistake by not going there or is there a better place for me to try? I and family are BIG meat(beef) eaters. check out the other places that i am eating and let me know of anything you can think of MIND YOU I HAVE 3 KIDS, that don't do well with fancy places... LOL Farm kids gotta love them!

I gave up control of planning my trip for a few hours :scared1: i let my DD13 look over menu's and pick another place to eat on Christmas eve. Yikes I got a page and a half of places she wants to eat. I never thought I was a control freak but I think I am with this trip!!!!
Oh and I work day shift again and talked for an hour about DISNEY!!! and everyone was intrested in hearing about MY TRIP... maybe I should work days lol.
I also went to school and picked up some stuff my DS left and the teacher and a parent were talking about Disney and I gave them this web site!!! I also told about 5 people at work about it !!! More the Merrier

7 1/2 hours till I make my ADR's I can't wait I tried to make them tonight but no luck well i knew I was just calling to book the fantasmic dinner package but they wouldn't let me do that either and to ask a few questions! I was glad to hear that I can make all my 2 weeks worths of ADR's on the same day and not have to call each morning! So I will call at 650 am and keep calling till I get a CM. I have a whole chart with the dates and what park we will be in and where we are to eat that day. I also have each EMH am and pm listed I get getting overly obsessive with this! I think I may take a breather from planning for a month???? maybe! I noticed that most of the parks are open early and late during the week of christmas!, which is a blessing!
hope every one has a good night need to get some sleep for early morning tomorrow! nighty nite

Finally I can rest now and not stress over where to eat! Cm wasn't that great she was just all about getting the ADR's done, I even made a joke about our dinner at 1900 park when she said who the characters where, I said my boys are sooo looking forward to seeing them..... haha she said oh ok here is your conformation #. She was also snotty that I was using my cell to call becaue well my fault by I was cutting out. No MUSIC just got picked up I called right at 700

DEC-22 - Chef Mickey's ----6:10pm

Dec-23 - Boatwrights ---- 5:30pm

Dec-24 - Coral reef -- --- -12:20pm

Dec-24 - 1900 Park Fare- -- 6:10pm

Dec-25 Crystal palace - - - -9:10am

Dec-25 Liberty tree Tavern- 6:10pm

Dec-28 50's Prime time cafe 11:00

Dec-28 Hollywood & Vine ----4:30pm followed by FANTASMIC

Dec-29 Spirit of Aloha - - - - 5:15pm
I got almost all my times that I wanted, they are all off about 10 minutes which isn't horrible it is livable, just not glad that it isn't hours. They only one that I was disapointed about was having to eat sooooo early at Hollywood & Vine due to the fact that we took the FANTASMIC DINNER PACKAGE. Do they dictate what show you go to? I see there is two showings of the show does it matter what one you go to?
Thanks for reading!

Like your choices :thumbsup2

I'd like to give my opinion on the Fantasmic package. We went to Hollywood & Vine on our last trip as part of the package and decided we wouldn't do that again. We did have front row seats, but the reserved section is off to the side and there were plenty of empty seats all over. This was in August though, so it may be different in December.

We'd rather wait in line next time and save the TS for a better restaurant.

thanks ilmickey for pointing out that my times where VERY close together! I did call back and reschedule my lunch so we are eating at 1100  that morning.
As for the fantasmic dinner package I was concerned about that being stuck in a seat that wasn't good and having a lot of empty seats else where. but from what I have heard that the week of xmas it is very very busy so I am hoping and praying that it is packed amn my family will praise me for the well done Job! LOL:cool1:
I can finally stop obsessing over where we are eating!!!:woohoo: :yay:

Great dinner choice, they are mostly ones we plan on for our next trip as well. The only advice I can give you is to be careful when u schedule a buffet breakfast and then an early dinner. We did this the last trip and were so full we didnt want dinner later, its just a thought. Also we are going to pay for the Luau OOP so as to be able to use the credits for a signature meal because the new DDP only allows u 2nd and 3rd tier seating and for a few dollars more u can pay OOP and get better sets (this is my plan). Again just a thought. I'm def looking fwd to how your trip shapes up!!! I can't wait to make my ADRS!!!

I can't wait to get to Disney! I am sick of just talking about it I just want to get there already! LOL:rotfl2: My DM is talking about getting new shoes for everyone and having us break them in and I am like Not till NOVEMBER!

So I have a question for all those WELL SEASONED DISNEY VETERANS, is it worth getting up early and going to the EMH (am) or jus lag around in the am and head to the parks in late morning? I know AK is the one park that I want to hit early morning. But for all the other parks is it worth going in early last time we went from park open till park close and we were beat. I have pictures of my kids eating eating dinner at 1000 one night and their little eyes were half closed.... So what is your stratagies(spl)
thanks

Hi! Your ADRs look fantastic, and I'm excited that you're so excited. :yay: :yay: :yay: This is my opinion on EMHs - you're going at one of the most crowded times of the year, if not THE most crowded, so morning EMHs are well worth it. I don't know if kids will be able to deal with them though - they probably won't want to get up early! I HATE getting up early but I spring out of bed at 6:30 am when I'm at Disney! So, if you can convince your kids, morning EMHs are well worth your time because I think you will face long waits for everything that week.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!!

I think I am wanting this trip to come really fast... The other night while driving home from work it was pouring out. I thought to myself HHHMMMM I wish this was snow, (it has been almost cold enough for it.) I was Like did I just wish for snow This is a place that it snows from oct - may DID I REALLLY JUST WISH FOR SNOW? My god I did. I thought that maybe if it was snowing that my trip would be here that much faster.

I believe that we will be staying at the parks for the whole day.... just read a post about how the park was shut down from 11-6 one day due to over crowding. YIKES! DH will love that I can't get him near a Walmart on a weekend day, Neverless the supermarket. We live on the border and there is an increase flow of customers on weekends. I told my DH that maybe since they have all crossed the border to shop here that we could take advatage and shop there and there will be no CROWDS and they have Crispy Creme doughnuts.. MMMMMM I have had some from the states but I prefer the ones from Canada. I have even driving the 1.5 hour to just get them.

On another note DH is getting tired of hearing me talk DISNEY! we were at a party the other night and I started talking about it and he was like here we go again. Can't take her any where. LOL I said don't you want it to be a gooooodddddd trip? HUH? HUH? DH: yes dear just hate listening about it since it is still 5MONTHS AWAY!!!! but I still love you. I gave him a twenty and sent him to the bar. And I was free to speak about DISNEY!

Any advice on clothing for down there at that time CM didn't give me a clue she said it could be forty or it Could be eighty five. I was like that's a HUGE HELP! short and it's forty FREEZE 85 and jeans and sweatshirt SWEAT TO DEATH. Maybe I should pack both??? I just looked at luggage that has 7 pieces. HHMMM I will look like Rose on the Titanic...LOL
Well need to go to bed work in the am .........very unusual for me normally evenings are for me!

She was right.

We were there the second week of December. We wore sweatshirts one day, t-shirts the next. Shorts one day, jeans the next. They say layer up. It's true. We kept jackets in the lockers or car just in case. I read where people were actually trying to buy coats from other people.

I loved it though, because it wasn't miserable. You could enjoy yourself!

So my thought of disney went out the window for a day! I spent the day between the doctors x-ray deptartment and the ER in what they call the FAST TRACK. YEAH RIGHT! SO HERE IS THE STORY:
oN MONDAY kids were stuck inside most of the day due to severe thunderstorms that we had. finally the rain couds cleared just in time for dinner. My DH recieves a phone call from a friend and says he needs to run over to our lot of land that we are clearing for our house. I said can you PPPPPLLLLLEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE take one of the kids with you PPPPLLLEEEAAASSSEE! I figured he would take charlie due to he always takes him, not this time he takes Lucy princess: my Star Skater she is sooo gracefull on the ice , (but not on land can you see where this story is leading) Of go dad and Lucyprincess: , she is thrilled that dad is taking her. about an hour goes by and they return home Dh says lucy fell and landed on her arm. I said Lucyprincess: are you ok and she says yeah I'm fine! she is going to be 13 on sat there was some attitude in that FINE! I'm Going to shwer she said. She got dress and was really quiet even when we said we were going to the TASY FREEZE (SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM) figuring that she was tired I (the horrible mother) said nothing to her. She asked for tylenol and went to bed. Yeah peace and quiet in the house! The next morning I got her up because I had to leave for work. She never said anything about her arm hurting. I came home that afternoon and she asked for some motrin and I said yeah take two. She asked for a friend to come over and at 6pm she promply asked to spend night at friends house. Can I ride my bike there? :scared1: There was my heart in my throat.:scared1: Now I have never let her cross the street due to a man got killed at the end of the driveway from jogging and got hit by a car. NEVER NEVER RIDE ON THAT RODE is what I have drilled into my kids heads. Now there is the question being asked can I cross the ROAD on my bike (I did say that she is not graceful right.) I said yes I think at almost thirteen you can be trusted to lok look look look and look as you cross! Dh stood in back door watching her go you would have thought she was leaving home for good they way he watched her leave. She called at 9 I figured that she was calling to say goodnight. there my baby girl is in tears on the phone I was like what is wrong! My arm hurts she said. I was like take some tylenal or motrin and you'll be fine you have taken harder falls and be fine! I ran her up some to the friends house and the mother a RN said maybe you should take her to the ER I The HORRIBLE MOTHER said Naw she is ok... lUCYprincess: if you want to come home we can come get your bike tomorrow, NO I will stay but can I come home if the pain is worse I said OF COURSE! I will leave the light on! and doors unlocked. Midnight The horrible mother has just finished watching a horror movie all by herself and has gone to bed. I hear a noise! I jumped up and looked down the stairs and there she be my poor little princess: girl standing there crying. I gave her another dose of motrin and sent her and friend of to bed. Fast forward to 10:00 am Doctors office with 5 kids ??:sad2: Doc says dosen't think any thing is wrong just a pulled muscle! but lets do XRAYS just to be on safe side. And put it in a sling for the weekend. Off to the Xray place. Put five kids back into the car... travel there and I had a plan Leave friend with three smaller ones and put on a movie. Thank god for DVD in the car!:happytv: In for xrays
Please wait for the doctor to call back with results. He said well fortunatly we sent you to have xrays........ What did she have a Break??? Waiting three seconds of silence seems like a lifetime. No she had a fracture!!! like that seemed any better to me.
So off to the ER No wait I have Five:sad1: kids in the Car! back home to get DH to take three drop one off that = one to go to the ER. Check in great it is a friend of mine oh we will move right on! move to Fast track err should I say sssllloooowwww track. Three hours and fourty five mins to put a sling on the childs arm. Heck we already had the X-rays and we just needed a quick referral to the orthopedist. Three hours and foutry five mins.
So now I have a slukey:sad1: almost 13 year old who now can't skate for the rest of the ssummer she can't swim no bike . All I can say is thank god it is now and not in nov - Dec. So we are off to the ortho Dr. @ 830 am try to get her out of bed that early it will be shocking:scared1:

So here is a little update!
Another trip to the Er this time for Linus who needed stitches, well I thought he did. They ended up just superglueing his head shut! Not as bad as the trip with Lucy we where only there for 2 hours. He is fine and within four days he had all the superglue peeled off. He will have a small scar on his forehead. It will add character to his beautiful little face!:)
So DM started booking dinner with shamu and getting prices for universal, she called an EMERGENCY FAMILY MEETING. She said we couldn't do both and had to vote to were we wanted to go! Universal won:guilty: I have been waiting for 26 years to go to seaworld, I guess I will have to wait some more. There are to many kids they won votes hands down. DH said he voted with what ever the kids voted for because he didn't care what we do! he is always sooo fun!
So I was doing something and BOOM it hit me we are going to be in WDW for an extra day since we cut Seaworld..... OH NO No ADR made for that day! So now I am scrambling through menus and restaurants reviews to see where we are going to eat and are we paying for that dinner or are we going to pay for something else and trade off. So I am open for suggestions for dinner that night! I have nothing planned for that whole day. I do have 2 days planned in MK and only one day planned for every other park. LeCElliier (sp)looks really good and so doesn't ohana. So doesn't a lot of the places not a time to look at menus is when your hungry.
So we are trying to find clothes for the boys that have the zip off pants and something that they won't get cold in and can zip off if it gets hot! for the rest of us I think I will find carpis for me and DD and long shorts for DH! Then My luck it will be the coldest year in history! No diffenitly I am packing for both warm and cold going to buy polo fleece jackets for family. maybe even bring mittens.
Well that is all for now Dis folks .... talk to you all later

Stephen and I are writing you on behalf of our sons Zachary and Nathan.

As most of you know, Zachary was diagnosed with Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes at Christmas time last year, shortly after he turned six years old. He will be insulin dependant for the rest of his life. In his short time of being a diabetic he has already endured over 2000 fingerpicks and over 1800 insulin injections. In addition to his rigorous blood testing and insulin shots, everything he consumes must be weighed and measured, and his blood sugar levels must be monitored even while he sleeps and plays. Zachary is always a trooper and complains little. As you've seen, he is full of smiles, laughs, and seven year old mischief, amidst his daily diabetic routine. Zachary continually amazes us and is a blessing to have in our lives as a daily reminder of spirit, humility, and a positive attitude.

Nathan has been living with this disease for eleven years now. I won't even estimate on the number of shots and fingerpick he has endured. Nathan is also insulin dependant for the rest of his life. Nathan has been on the insulin pump for 5 years now, which means he doesn't have to have so many picks, but he still needs to monitor his blood sugar levels many times a day. Both boys amaze me on how strong they can be. Nathan has proven to be a great mentor to Zachary, showing him that he can do it even though it may hurt a little.

There are many devastating diseases in our world right now, and that saddens us. The difference with juvenile diabetes is that wiping it out of existence is extremely attainable and within reach. Zachary often asks us, "When is my diabetes going to go away?" It's a painful question to answer looking into his beaming and hopeful eyes. We feel confident a positive answer will be available before he goes to high school.

Please understand, we are not trying to have a pity session. We truly believe that out of every difficulty comes something good. As parents, it is our instinct from the moment our children are born to protect them from any harm. We must do everything in our power to help find a cure for them. It's our mission to avoid the heart and kidney disease, blindness, amputation, and early death that is a reality for many people with juvenile diabetes.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the # 1 non-profit fundraiser of diabetes research worldwide. One of JDRF's largest fundraising event is the "Walk to Cure Diabetes ." This being Zachary's first year of diagnosis, we have formed a team called "TEAM ERO" and are trying to raise money towards this cause. This year's walk will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Oval in Plattsburgh, NY!

If you are interested, there are three ways you can help us make a difference for our boys:
• You can join our Family Team, known as "TEAM ERO," which consist of family and friends who collect Pledges and walk with us.
• You can send your donations and contact other in your circle of family and friends to donate as well. Just contact us and we will send you a pledge form. If you choose to raise donations yourself, you may forward this letter or write your own.
• You can also pledge a donation at our website http://walk.jdrf.org/walker.cfm?id=86735919

Thank you for helping our family team meet our goal of $2,000 this year. Thank you for your support and we would be honored to see you at the Walk on September 30!

The Ero Family
Stephanie & Stephen
Nathan, Samantha, Zachary, & Tyler

Just a NOTE: We raised almost a $1000. for the walk and They boys and I walked all 3.5 miles of it and lucy sprinted the whole thing... The boys and I were one of the last teams to arrive! but we did it!

:thumbsup2 As promised, I checked out your TR and itinerary.

That story of how you first went to Disney is too funny! I'm sure you're family didn't think so at the time, but still, very hysterical!!! :rotfl:

You're going to a lot of great ADRs! The only one I don't know is Boatwright's. But, it doesn't look like we'll be meeting up anywhere. :sad1: Who knows, though? We do a lot of last minute changes, so we may run into each other in the most unlikely places. Hopefully, I'll remember what you all look like, based on your pictures (where were awesome, by the way), though I know that your kids are quite a bit older now.

Definitely, let each place where you eat know about your son's diabetes. They will accommodate his needs. I've heard that in most places, the chef will personally come out and discuss what's suitable. So, it should work out. As for sweets, I know they have sugar free products, too.

I look forward to reading more of your trip report. This is so exciting to be so close to going and know others are going through the same excitement. Thanks for visiting my trip report! :santa:

So we went shopping on friday.... what a site we must had been! DM in a wheel chair and DH pushing her. I was pushing the cart with crutches hanging out and my niece and Linus all in the cart and I was trying to put in our stuff that we were buying.
We bought Disney christmas wrap, and Disney Christmas Tags, I already bought the Disney stockings. We bought a 3Ft Christmas tree and bought colored lights this is a big deal because we have always always had white lights... I even talked DM into getting colored lights for the porch of the cabin. I figure that we can hit DTD and get some small ordaments there for our tree, and for $9.00 I don't care if it comes back to NEW YORK STATE. I was going nuts in the xmas department with all the Disney stuff. I was told to calm down and not to over buy and spend! LOL DM and I are going to go shopping Thursday going to the dollar tree and yankee dollar to see if they have any disney stuff for stockings there.
Gotta get lunch write more later

I am glad you liked my scrapbook pages. Scrapbooking is the perfect way to relive your trip. I can't wait to start my next album.
I hope they got new stuff in at the scrap store in DTD, I was disapointed with the store but still gave them alot of my money, I just wish they would of had more.

I am excited for your trip, it will be wonderful, I can see the cabin in my minds eye all decorated for Christmas. Glad you got colored lights too. I think white lights are very elegant but I love the festive look of colored lights.

I know the dollar tree for the most part always has Disney stuff. I got some light up pens, playing cards and Disney wash clothes to just name a few things, I know Target has a dollar area and they have alot ofdisney princess things there right now, pens and stationery stuff. The pictures of your little pirates are great! I also love the way the fleeces turned out. Now, I will know what you all will look like! :goodvibes You must all be as excited as we are! I am down to 25 days, which means 29 for you (less than a month)!!! :woohoo: I am always glad to celebrate Thanksgiving, but I was super duper excited for this one, because that was the final holiday before our trip. I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving!

So I hope that everyone had a great thanksgiving. I sure did, even though I had to work. MIL had dinner for 1pm for me and then I headed out into the ice storm to work. Next morning headed to MA to celebrate with my SM and brothers, and BOB(his name is Ryan) my nephew. My brother his uncle calls him bob because his head used to BOB when he was a baby.
So I am down to 26 days..... :cool1:  :goodvibes
I also hit the DISNEY store while in MA. I didn't buy anything but DM bought over $200.oo. all on sale.:cool1:  Plus she hit the dollar tree and other stores buy us goodies for the trip.
The Kids did get xmas presents from the uncles and grandmother (SM) they each received $60.00 in DIsney dollars.!!!! they thought that was cool ,but were confused    because they normally get a LOT more than an envelope! But we told them it was money and they could buy what ever they wanted. They were like OK!!!
Again I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and we are on the WAY down that countdown!!!:woohoo: :santa:

Ok so the Creative BUG has bitten... I am in the middle of making a advent calander for our last 20 days till DISNEY. I found twenty Different Christmas Clip art and put them onto one sheet of cardstock, then I found a winter disney themed picture and put that on behind the clip art and then slowly replaced the clip art with dotted lines. I just hope that I have lined them all properly. i am in the process of putting how many days left on then i will print it out on to cards stock. Then I will carefully cut out 3 sides of the dotted lines on each square and hope that they line up with the under picture.
Maybe I will take a pic of the finished product!!!

So here is an update on our wonderful weather here in the NORTH COUNTRY!
Last night we had white out conditions for about 30 minutes or so.. then the temperature has dropped from 25 to about 7/8` BUUURRR!!! tonight the temperature is supposed to drop to about -6 yes that is a minus 6.BUUURRR again. Sunday into Monday we are supposed to be getting 4 - 8 inches of snow!!! This isn't a good thing. I didn't want snow until after we left and for that matter untill we came home! I don't want to get stuck in any airports for any longer than we need to. So lets pray to the snow gods NO SNOW THE WEEK BEFORE XMAS~~~

Yep this snow stinks doesn't it!? I always tend to say that travel, even in WDW, will take an hour from place to place and we are always early with that mind set- maybe that'll work for you!? At least you get to avoid the cold of NY for Xmas!

Got our BIG Snow STORM:rotfl2: it wasn't bad at all.I think we got about 3 inches, but it was a heavy snow. It also warmed up to about 32` so it is melting. NO school for the kids today!! So we sat and played on the puter:surfweb: . I did make all of my mousekeeping envelopes.. not printed just designed and saved. I even made some with the glitter disney characters from myspace pages. they came out good not great but good. I also found on my scrapbooking program that I have I can print out money holders(cards) so that is what I will print them out on.
I have four things in the suitcase two tubes of toothpaste and two pirate costumes. Just wait on having our Christmas so we can pack the rest. Ordered our MICKEY and Pirate Crocs. they will be in in TEN DAYS YIKES:scared1: I am cutting that one close. Now Just need to get the SANTA's gifts to bring with us. Also need to find a box to ship our stuff down ie-; shampoo, conditioner, christmas tree, soap, juices, breakfast items, need to get that done this week... Finally have someone to watch my Beastly cat! He will be soooo lonely.:guilty:
That's all for now!!!
Have fun on your trips to anyone that is going!! (Ty & Reese)
