Hi there. I did try the search, just to be thorough. (I knew it wouldn't work, lol) Anyone out there trying the new alli--the over the counter version of Orlistat/Xenical? I bought it at Walmart & am ready to give it a shot.
I would love to hear from others that are going to try it or from anyone who has used the prescription version. I believe the only difference is the doseage. Prescription=120mg, over the counter=60mg
Anyone??
Thanks!

I got scared when I read the side effects.:scared: I think I might wait for to hear some info on how well it works. Im kinda chicken when it comes to "pills".

I guess you have to be careful & take according to the directions, watching your fat intake. It is worth a shot to me...

On The View Margaret Cho was saying she tried it, and had the "side effect" of "shooting orange" not just normal loose or diahria, but SHOOTING - and Barbara Walters mentioned until your body gets used to it, and until you figure out the effects, stay close to the toilet, and keep extra clothes handy (one friend had a prescrip for it, stopped taking it when she had 2 night time "accidents"!!)
Joy added that the weight loss with the pill wasnt that dramatic - maybe an extra 2# to every 10# of loss - and that the pill is expensive about $2 per pill...
But I do want the magic weight loss... any weight loss, I'm dieting, I"m exercizing, and I'm staying the same!!

I started today, and I am scared to death. I don't want any of the "side effects"... so I've been really careful about what I'm eating. I guess I need the threat of "shooting orange" to keep me on track!
I don't need to lose a TON of weight, about 13 pounds, but I want to lose it!! I've stayed the same for 6 months, after losing 20 last year. So far, so good. I'm thirsty, but that's the only difference I can tell so far.

I started it yesterday. I used Xenical years ago (over 6 yrs) and I lost 17 lbs in 2 months! I kept my fat intake low and didn't experience any "lava flow", KWIM? :lmao:
Let's keep eachother posted and see how we do! Good luck! :goodvibes

No side effects here. I started on monday, and have lost 1.4 pounds. I've been really good about not eating more then 10 grams of fat at each meal. I don't know how much my loss is the alli, or just not eating much. I've actually been a little constipated. Sorry, that's TMI... at least it's not orange stuff.

Hey, no fair! I found your 1.4 pounds! What the heck is going on??? :confused3 I have no idea what is going on, except maybe it's a little bit of water retention. Oh, and I've had no side effects either. Thank goodness! ;)
Just a little FYI - you have to drink TONS of water or you will get constipated.
Hey is everyone taking a multi-vitamin as well? I just bought some Centrum today as I understand taking alli messes up your bodys ability to absorb vitamins from food.
Hope everyone has a good week. Shall we check in next Monday with weight loss amounts?

I bought alli last night. I've joined the site and I'm going to add it to the regimine that I'm already following. It can only help. I'm actually going to take it VERY slowly. I don't want any "Liquid Sunshine" shooting from my behind.

Uh, oh! Had a little activity.... but not an "accident" per say. It I've still had low fat meals, so not sure where it came from. The only difference is I started my vitamin last night. I'm down 2 pounds since Monday, so I'm pleased. 10.6 to go!!

Oh my gosh! Me too! I had "orange" activity today on day 3. I wonder if it takes 3 days for your body to adjust to the pills? :confused3
Sounds like everyone is off to a good start. Have a great day, all! :)

My coworker is on day three of it. No side effects for her yet which is making me really curious to try it with the July 4 holiday coming up. She has taken it when going out to restaurants and has been ok. So who knows. She takes a pill at lunch and dinner but not at breakfast and I think she said she's taking her vitamin before bed so it will absorb.

I bought alli last weekend and started taking Monday, after 4 days I didn't really have any side affects. My diet has consisted of low fat meals and increased water so I figured that's why I would have the accidents. So I decided to test the waters a bit. I went to Steak n Shake for dinner last night. I ordered a kids meal with a strawberry shake and within an hour of finishing I started having slightly uncomfortable cramping and then later the "effects" so yes it happens so watch your fat intake!
I started 2007 on a weight loss plan with dieting and exercising even working out with a personal trainer. Lost about 25 lbs and lost 2 sizes. I have maintain that loss so far but haven't been working out lately. I need a kick in the butt...LOL to get in gear again! I figure Alli can hurt. Goal is to lose another 10-15 before my WDW trip in September!

OK, I'm confused, is it treatment effects, or just working. I warning you upfront, might be tmi, so stop reading if you are not up for it.
OK, I've not had meals with more then 12 grams of fat since starting. I have not had any "accidents", where I end up with "stains or spotting", but I've had oil spots in the toilet after I go to the restroom. Should I not be having that, or is this supposed to happen? Am I eating too much fat? I've lost about 2 pounds since Monday.
So is this what is supposed to happen, or am I doing something wrong.

Yikes! I think I'll stick with my NV that I've been using. No side effects from it-I'm too worried about the orange stuff. Although I'm a teacher and summer would be a good time to try it. I only want to lose about 5-7 lbs. But I run and I'm worried I would have an accident when I run.

My Dh has used the prescription Xenical (Alli is made by the same company).
If he ate regular cheese or pizza there would be an oily orange film on the toliet water after a BM. Also, unfortunately he had bouts of uncontrollable gas. He sure wouldn't be happy to know I am sharing this information! The product did help though.:)

Ok, so I weighed in this morning.... 1 pound loss! That's it! When I went to myalli and put in all my information, they told me to be sure I am eating under 19 grams of fat, right? So I checked out my breakfast.... let's see 12 grams of fat.... that's ok... but then I check the fake butter product that I use on my toast.... 10 grams of fat!! So there's my culprit! I'm going to double check all my meals today, because obviously I can't count. :lmao:

Are you logging on to the Nutrition Log to help keep track?

I've lost 5.4 pounds in my less than 3 days  and NOOOOO side effects!
I was even VERY opposed to myalli just a week ago! But I did my homework and decided to give it a try. I am SO glad I did!
It sort of like having a gun to my head because the the possibility of TE (Treatment effects) keeps me "good". I will not "Shart" (WHO first said that word? HOW FUNNY!)
I totally write down every single bite on the Nutrition Log on the site. That is a neato feature. It will tell you right there if you are on target with ALL the components of nutrition, like calcium, cholesterol, sugars, etc. I back that up with a paper journal provided.
There's also an exercise log. But I am a little bit borring with my 30 minute walks.
On staff, there's RN's and nutritionists to help people with questions. Like is it compatible with the diet they're already on or if they have gallbladder problems etc..
I set my first goal of 23 pounds for my Sept. WDW trip...which alone keeps me focused. Then I'll set another 15-20 pound goal.

I just bought it today. A friend and I are splitting the 60 pill bottle, we were a little afraid of the sharts (love that movie!) and we want to see if it really works before we're out any more money. Walmart had it for $40. I'm starting tomorrow and maybe the fear of the side effects keeps you in line more than anything but I'm desperate! I want to lose at least 15 more before our trip in 2 months and 45 lb overall. I want this to work so badly!

For those of you that asked for low carb ideas. My meals are generally pretty boring:
Breakfast: 3 Jimmy Dean Turkey sausage links and 3 egg whites cooked w/no fat spray.
Lunch: 4 ounces of chicken tenderloin (no skin)--I cook in a mixture of vinegar, italian spices, & garlic powder or tuna. I eat my protein either plain or w/a good handful of lettuce and FF italian dressing. 20 grams spicy pork rinds or a 2% cracker barrel cheese stick. Maybe a sugar free jello.
Dinner: 4-6 ounces of chicken or 4-5 ounces of LEAN steak (love london broil). Maybe a small salad. I would recommend broccoli or green beans if you like them. I am a terrible eater. I do not.
My diet plan? Kimkins. If you want to learn more about it:

Wow, Laurie! That is so funny that you posted this. I just joined Kimkins yesterday. I did the original Kimkins diets yesterday and took my alli and dropped 2.5 in 1 day! :woohoo:
I did some reseach on why the alli alone wasn't working, only to find out that if you are already on a low-fat diet, alli won't help much, if at all.

Okay, I've been on Alli for about 2 weeks now and I'll admit it...
I ate like poop that first week. I had a lot of stress going on. But you know what? I didn't gain AND I didn't poop my pants! Sooo- not so bad! The worse thing I personally noticed after eating too fatty of a meal is cramps in the morning- those sucked and I HAD to have a BM. TMI, yeah, yeah...
Now, I'm back on the eating track and probably down about 2 pounds- not bad (well, my scale had me down about 4 pounds this morning- but I think that was a bad reading).
I'll keep ya'll updated- maybe I just have an ironclad stomach?
Oh and remember- the people who gave reviews BEFORE Alli came out- I think they were talking about Xenical. I think Alli is about 1/4th the strength of Xenical- so the side effects won't be as harsh on your digestive tract as Xenical was/is.

After reading all of fellow Dis'ers posts, I believe if you are really eating correctly... You will probably not have treatment effects... You are definately on the rights track already going to curves.;)
PS.... I am not an Alli user yet..... so I am not 100% sure on the whole side effect business.

Another Alli user here! I bought it at CVS the first day it came out (plus they had $10.00 in extra care bucks) but I just started taking it this week. Yes I've had the side effects but in a strange way I like them b/c they are a reminder to keep me on the straight and narrow. I am reading labels more carefully and making better food choices. In case of any potential accidents, I've been wearing a pad (sorry TMI for the guys and no I haven't had an accident). So far no dramatic weight loss but I've only been at it a couple of days so I should know more next week. I hope this discussion keeps going so we can really see if Alli works.

Ok, I 've never heard of Kimkins until yesterday. Now I see it everywhere! It looks like a really good diet!
Now, I started alli last Sat. (6 days ago) and this morning's weigh in was down 8 pounds! Woooo Hooooo!
NO treatment effects whatsoever! It's the fear that keeps me good! (That should be their slogan!!!) I do NOT exceed 15 grams of fat even though on my special alli profile said I could do 19 per meal. Too risky!
I have eating between 1700 and 1800 calories per day. Which is WAY more than I've been doing! My exercise has just been walking. Which I do not a second more than the 30 mins. per day. I am a lady of leisure by nature. I even ate a York Peppermint Patty a few times this week for the reward factor.
I am really trying hard, though. It isn't magic by any stretch of the imagination. I write down every bite. I'm praying my motivation lasts!

Thanks for all the reports. I read Kimkin and googled and read some more - I cannot do Atkins, or South beach - I have low blood sugar/pressure issues... I'm leaning towards myalli - as soon as I get a grip on counting those fat grams!!

Okay girls, I have another question. Do you have to eat low fat a couple days before you start Alli?:confused3 (To clean out your system) I was just wondering because I had a gift card to the Olive Garden and used it tonight and yea, I know this is not by any means low fat and I will not be able to even think about eating this while on Alli but, I just wanted to use the gift card before I start the Alli program. I ate it tonight and will probably give all left overs to the dogs (can't have it in the house) should I wait or start tomorrow?:confused3 I am so ready for this!!:) Hope we can keep this thread going because I think it will help a lot of us to sucessful while taking Alli!

How's everyone doing on this? I'm thinking of trying it, but wanted to see after a few weeks how it was working out for those on it. I really need to lose about 20 pounds although I'd like to lost about 25. I'm 5'7" and right now I weigh about 167. Its the most I've ever weighed.
I did WW a couple years before I had my daughter and did great. I lost almost 20 pounds and kept it off until we started trying to get pregnant. Then about two years ago I went through some really traumatic marriage problems and lost about 15 pounds in a matter of weeks. I went from 160 to 145 almost overnight it seemed. Of course I wasn't eating anything much at all. Once life leveled out a little I of course started eating again and slowly over time have gained it back and then a little. The extra stress over the last two years has made my eating habits terrible and contributed to my weight gain some.
I'm having a really hard time getting started. I go buy good things to eat and try to drink water instead of soda and it only lasts a few days and then I'm back to soda and wanting comfort food instead of the salad I had planned on eating. I think I just need a little jumpstart. If I could start losing I think it woudl help motivate me to keep it up.
Thanks for your input. I'm hoping this might be my jumpstart.

For a 1 inch cube of feta cheese, the fat content is 4 grams.

I started alli on 6/25. I've had 2 weigh-ins and so far I've gone down 12 lbs.
I'm careful to stick to < 15 fat gms/meal and I've had no serious TE's thus far. I little gurgling in the stomach, but nothing uncontrolable. Actually, not to sound gross, but for me it's helped to regulate my system, KWIM???
It helps me with modifying my behavior and keeping me aware of everything I put in my mouth. I also have felt less hungry & my cravings seem to be in check as well. At first I thought it was all in my head, but 16 days into it, I'm still not feeling the carb cravings as I typically had on past diet regimines.
Today I'll be put to the test as I have a picnic to attend. I still plan on taking the pills for lunch and dinner and I'm hoping to not cave into all the food that will be around me today!!

The information that I got on the message board at Alli said that the pills will stay in your system for 48-72 hours.

I had it in my hands to buy when I was at Target and the checkout lady talked me out of it! After reading all of your posts, I want to try it!
So tell me.........
I'm on Nutrisystem right now. Have been for almost 4 weeks. I've lost 8 pounds, so I am averaging about 2 pounds per week. Would love to lose more! Most of the meals are 10 fat grams or less. The NS meals are less, but you do add stuff - like salad with dressing and protein, which I sometimes do 2% cheese. Will Alli work for me if my meals are about 10 grams of fat? And Nutrisystem is low calorie - about 1400 cals.

It will work no matter how many grams of fat you are taking- you just shouldn't take in too many grams or else you get the side effects.
It's not so much as a diet as a... supplement to your diet plan. So I'd go ahead with what you are doing and supplement with Alli.

I would go to the myalli website and speak to a nutritionist and let them know you are on Nutrisystem before you spend the money. Personally for me, I was on a low fat diet and tried alli with little to no results. I read the pamphlets that come in the starter kit and it said if you are already on a low-fat diet, alli probably won't work for you.

Missy--did you start the program? I am just lagging about doing Alli. Doing the logging really helps with keeping track of fat grams. but if you enter what you plan on eating to see what it is, it can make a mess of it all if you don't stick to what you entered. My DH is positive about it. So, I may do it, although I will wait til this week is over at work. We are really busy now, and I work 14 out of the next 16 days. Yes I did, I started it last Saturday and did my weigh in this morning and have lost a total of 6 pounds. I highly encourage others to take because it really helps you to make better choices and it really works. I haven't really been logging what I eat and I think it's because I'm so affraid of having the treatment effects that I am very cautious of what I eat and how much I eat. I also pack my lunch everyday with at least 2 pieces of fruit (love my sweets) and then I set myself up to eat healthy and not have to go out and eat junk. As long as you follow the plan you will lose the weight. I am going to start going to Curves at least 2 days a week at first then I will up it to 3 maybe 4 but first I'll start with 2. Thanks to everyone that comes and shares their experiences, AND to answer our questions...
I've started at sparkpeople.com which has a place to track my calories, fat,etc...
Mostly I keep to less than 15 g of fat at breakfast - but my 1T of peanut butter on toast is 16GRAMS!! So do I give up peanut butter, or do I try myalli?
Then, the whole stress eating factors in, and I sat down and ate a whole bag of real potato chips - which effectively sabotages my efforts!! Its humilating to know what you are doing is wrong, and to continue doing it!
I'm planning on getting myalli next week, but, I'm not sure still... back and forth! Sam's Club is selling the 150 capsule starter set for $66 - and from what I read at myalli website it sounds like if you do a low fat (under 15G of fat) you dont have to take a pill with each meal???
It still is so confusing (the whole package, being overweight, stressing, myalli etc)

I started taking Alli about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have lost about 5 pounds! Like others have said, it is the threat of "bad things" that is making me stick to it. I have never had the will power before to say no to those tempting sweets and fried food. The only side effects I have had is when I have broken my diet. I ate a piece of fried chicken after being in the ER with DS all day and I went to the "Hot Chicken Festival" on the 4th. Both times gave me a crampy rumbly tummy - but no accidents or anything uncontrollable. My problem is that our Disney trip is in 2 weeks and we have the Dining Plan. I have been looking forward to the food for so long, that I think I am going to stop taking Alli 3-4 days before we go and start again when we get home. Do you think this is enough time to be safe?
karynnix

I would stop AT LEAST 4 days before you leave. The information on the website said that the Alli stays in your system for up to 72 hours.
I don't blame you at all for getting off of the Alli to enjoy Disney food. There is no reason to not enjoy every bite! You can start back on Alli when you get back.
Have fun!!

I new I could find the info here on the boards about alli. I think I might try it. From what I understand I need to keep off fats. I leave for Disney in 3 weeks. If I cut out most my fats will I not have side effects? I teach in the mornings and would hate to have an accident. How many pills per day? Will it weork if I take less per day?

I started Alli about 2 weeks ago, haven't weighed yet, but I can tell a difference in how my clothes fit. Yay!
I did have "treatment effects" but it was my fault for not watching my fat content better, and it wasn't anything embarassing (trying to not get TMI). Honestly, I thought the amount of fat they allowed me per meal sounded a little high, the calories were right on target with what my GN suggested.
Good luck to everyone loosing weight!!!

Missy, I was wondering how it was going with the diet and such. Is it like WW? I have gawked at the book while shopping. I do watch my fats as a rule. High cholesterol and such. With the summer, it is easier to exercise outside with a ride or walk.

Wendy,
Yes I did start the program in June 30 and I have lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks and now on my 3rd. I didn't really log but I do pack my lunch and record what I'm going to eat the next day place it in my lunch box and that's what I eat for the day. so, I guess I do log but I just do it the night before instead of after every meal. I have been really GOOD about avoiding any kind of temtations. I did however have a sliver and I mean sliver of a piece if cake and had treatment effects about an hour later but it wasn't anything I couldn't control. My stomach just really hurt so needless to say I will NEVER EAT CAKE again for a long time which is fine because I don't really even like cake I just ate it because it was there and I sure did pay for it!!!! You just really have to watch what you eat and how much your eating because if you don't you will get the treatment effects. Let's just say that's enough to make me behave!! Good luck and let me know how your doing.

I would wait until you got settled to start the Alli. I just did vacation on Alli, and this is the first time that I have lost weight on vacation! I did eat badly for a few days, and certainly felt the effects. If you want to start now, just take low-fat food with you. I had a 23 hour car ride, and I took low-fat Pop-Tarts, bags of cereal and rice cakes. Eating out was hard, but I tried to stick to grilled chicken and salads.
You take one pill with each meal containing fat. For me, the treatment effects weren't so bad. Just some oil leakage. (TMI, I know!) If you are really commited, you won't have any trouble! Good luck!

If you eat a meal with NO FAT, you can skip the pill for that meal. Jif makes a really good reduced fat peanut butter that tastes just as good. It's a little thicker, but if you microwave it for a few seconds, it spreads really easy.
I feel much more in control with Alli. Before, I was mindlessly eating and regreting everything that I ate! Now, I am conscious of everything that I put into my mouth and I feel good about that. Plus, the weight loss really helps! There are some great message boards on the website to answer a lot of your questions, as well.
Good luck with what you decide to do!

I started on Alli last monday. I should say in all fairness, I had an accident 3 years ago which as made me alot less active and alot more depressed...all which totals up to an additional 45 pounds!!!! There I said it.
I've tried WW, Jenny Craig, a nutritionist plan......I kept gaining and gaining. I would struggle to loose 3 pounds and before you knew it I was up 5.
Last week I broke down and started the alli. I've lost 6.4 pounds! I can't believe it. I eat what my family is eating---just less. And I cut down on the fats. I have to loose this weight. One of my daughters is having a baby and another one of my daughters just told us that she and her fiance are getting married in the spring at DWD. I won't look like this in pictures! I don't even feel like I'm me, if that makes any sense.
Lets keep each other posted on how we're doing

I recommend it. I'm a yo-yo dieter (ugh can't believe I admitted that) and always plateau when I get within 15# or so of my goal. Since taking alli, I've lost continuously just 1 or 2# a week, but that feels great when I'm normally hitting a plateau at this stage.

I am down 2 pounds since I started taking this on Saturday. I have had NO "treatment effects" either!
I've been using it for almost a month and have lost about 10 pounds. I think that's a lot as it's a good percentage of my weight (which is 152 at Publix.) I've noticed some treatment effects but nothing bad enough to turn me away. It's definitely sped sped things up.
I spoke to my doctor before I started using it and told her I was worried about malnutrition but she shook her head and said it may help me control my weight over the summer vacation. I'm pretty darned happy so far! :goodvibes

HELLO??????
I am sorry, but this is my first day taking the Alli and was wondering how everyone else is doing while on it? I have limited my fat intake but haven't done any extra exercises, just your typical daily household stuff, yard work, laundry, walking dogs...
I really have a problem swallowing large pills, so i am thankful that the Alli pill isn't large. But the Multi vitamin I need to take is huge, does anyone know of a smaller one and what brand is it?
Well, I really hope this pill helps motivate me to move more and eat less!!!
Good luck all,

I have been taking it for almost 2 weeks. Haven't lost anything yet. I did start to notice something this past Sunday ... not any bad side effects -- but at least enough I can tell that something is happening. (Never thought I would be so glad to go to the bathroom :rotfl: ). Hopefully - I will start seeing some results... I am also switching to more low carb as well as to low fat.
I have noticed that I have been ExTREMELY thirsty ... (more so than usual)... anyone else.

I've been on it almost a month and hadn't weighed until 2 weeks ago, in those two weeks (meaning the week I weighed and then again 2 weeks after) I have lost 7 lbs with no excersizing except the usual house stuff too. I can "see" the difference in my weight loss in myself more than I can on the scale, if that makes sense. My mom has lost 30 lbs in just over a month, she excersizes daily though too so it will increase your weight loss. I'm very pleased with the results I see so far!

I started using my alli about a month ago and have lost about 10 lbs. Could I have done it without this product? Probably. I don't think of it as a panacea, just as a tool. I've only experienced one unpleasant mishap, and it wasn't the end of the world. What I use it for is to keep on track. I know what the consequences are if I do screw up. I don't think of this as anything but a springboard to a longer-term strategy. At most, I doubt I will use this product for more than 60 days.

I read through this whole thread yesterday and haven't stopped thinking about it since. I hadn't even considered using Alli prior to this because of the negative side effects it can cause. After reading this thread and venturing over to the Alli message boards a bit, I've decided to try this. I just ordered my starter kit online. I'm in a pretty desperate place right now, weight loss wise, so I'm hoping this will be the "something different" I need. I'll try to check back here in a couple weeks with an update:goodvibes

I've been using Alli for 10 days and I've lost 4 pounds. It's a good start- I have about 40 more to go.
I haven't had any problems at all with "treatment effects" but I'm so careful with my food choices. My hubby is going to do it with me starting next week so hopefully we can stick with it!

BTW, for those who have had treatment effects, how long does it take to happen? I had 2 slices of pizza today and I am worried it wasn't a good thing...Just wondering when I will know if I am in the clear.

It takes my body a few days for treatment effects. I can eat something bad on Saturday and have TE on Monday.

I have been contemplating Alli for about 4 mos. Talked to my doc. Bought the big Alli book to read prior. Took the on line ready test over 2 mos ago. At that time I was not ready. So I put it on the back burner. Decided to Quit smoking 3 mos ago and so now I am ready to exercise. Last week I took the "on line ready" test again and this time I was ready.
I ate relatively low fat beginning about a week ago, (I have been on and off for the last 2 mos for wicked High Cholesterol @ 210 now down to 160 thanks to Zetia)
I started the Alli pill this morning; About 20 minutes after I ate and took my 1st Alli pill I felt some gurgleling and had a "normal effect experience" (That's what I am calling it..lol ...skip the graphics)
I was very afraid, still am to a certain extent, so I stayed home all day. The funny thing is it seems like those who are posting TE eithor have normally had productive digestive systems with normal regularity or just slip up with the diet. And of course there are those that just have to test the 15g + theory.
Everyone's body is going to be different. I have NOT been regular since birth. Throw a multi w/ iron intohe mix and forget it! I am in agony. I finally had to take zelnorm about 2 and 1/2 years ago before I had my first child just to correct the IBS w/const. So I am hoping that the irregularity works to my advantage.
Alot of people say that they probably could have lost the weight without using the Alli. But I look at it like this; Alli is my safety net for me to prevent me from overeating, experiencing undesired TE and I plan to use that factor to my advantage in keeping me on the straight and arrow.
People who aren't ready probably shouldn't use this product. I mean they are going to have a "Party in their pants". There's no way around it. if your not ready just wait. Do it when you are.
I just hope I feel this way about the "surrendering" of my eating habits 3 weeks from now when I hear the benefits of the product should really kick in.
I am doing the "on line journal" and logging thing. I think that will also help me especially after the weekend when I have to go back to working from 9am to 10pm. The Days are long and sometimes I make bad food choices. So I can't afford the TE at work because I am the Director of a school and I teach for 4 hour lots on the side. So I have to focus and take everything one meal at a time.
The Big Alli book is really great. It really explains the phases of the program. I found it for alot less money at Walmart. So Far, I had only read negative blogs. And heard negative. This dis forum and reading it was the first positives I heard except from my pharmacist. She has been on it for a couple of weeks with minimal TE because she is following her plan like religion after a slip up that caused a bad TE episode. So she learned her lesson after the first few days from giving in to temptation.
Good luck to all of you and any positive feedback as far as what I may/can expect would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks for reading...best of luck to all
So far....Alli has my thumbs up. :thumbsup2

I have been on the alli for 3 weeks now. I am also following the diet plan. The only TE I've had have been when I deliberately went off the diet. I wanted to know what my body would do if I cheated,,,,but I wanted to do it at home. The TE was not the explosion I keep hearing about---but it was not comfortable. Now I know how my body reacts and I know I have to stick to the diet.
So far I have had results. I'm not loosing lots....but I'm loosing. That's all I want! Sure it would be nice to loose 40 pounds by morning....but I want to keep it off.
Don't be scared off. Take the alli, stick to the diet, and you'll loose too.

I started yesterday. I have been doing Weight Watchers since January and have lost 15+ pounds. Lately the weight is lingering and more stubborn despite my WW efforts, so I thought Alli might give me the boost I need and also help me to stay on track, for fear of those TEs. Since I am used to WW I figured I could pretty easily tweak my current plan to work with the Alli pill.
I am very nervous about TEs but it looks like most of you are saying they are not much of an issue unless you eat a hight fat meal- so I should be able to manage that with no problem. I am hoping just to use Alli to get me over this platteau I am experiencing. And then just resume WW alone to maintain my weight.
I will post on how things are going in a few days.
Quick question: They say not to eat foods with more than 30% calories from fat. My favorite treat on WW is a Dove chocolate bar: it has 12 grams of fat and far more than 30% come from fat. It is only 4 points on WW but I am afraid the % of fat may cause problems on my digestive system. Anyone know if this is safe?

I have been on for 5 days- no treatment effects yet. I have been eating pretty very low fat- and taking Alli with my meals that have between 4 and 15 grams of fat. I skip the pill my meal is under 4 grams. Is this a bad idea? It says in the literature: take with meals that contain fat. Should I be taking it even with those VERY low fat meals?

This question was asked on the Alli message board and the answers given said if the fat grams were half (or less than) of your allowed amount to not take the pill. This is what I and my mother have been doing and both of us are loosing steadily.

While I didn't consult with my "official" dr, I consulted my "unofficial" dr (my DBF is an internal medicine dr) and he says it's safe to use as directed.

I'm hoping this will jump start my weight loss program since I've been stuck for a few months. I'm doing the full marathon in January and hope to loose about 15 pds. by then. Good luck gang!

It has been a week, no treatment effects at all really, although I have gotten mild heartburn when taking the Alli- I don't know if that is related- I didn't see that listed as a side effect. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much effect as far as my weight goes (about 1 pound lost this week). I will continue until the bottle is gone and then evaluate if I will continue. The bottle should last me at least a month- as I only eat meals with 7+ or grams of fat once a day or less. I have been very strict with my WW points and I am hoping Alli will push me off this platteau- :wizard:Please- Alli- work your magic on me!:wizard:

My husband and I are really considering trying alli... either before or after our Sept WDW trip.
I have lost 43 lb since Feb 6, by following a strict 1200 cal diet with every other week cheat days and TONS of exercise. I don't really track fat but I track calories through sparkpeople and fat g tends to stay under 40g a day... I still have about 25-30 to lose, and DH has 40-60 to lose... do you think alli is for us? Any suggestions? I am going to go back and read all the pages of this thread.
Thanks!

Honestly--I really watch what I eat. I stay under 1200 calories a day. Each meal I can have 12 grams of fat but rarely do I hit that amount of fat. My snacks are things like veggies or fruits. I do have the 100 calorie snack packs on hand if I get the craving for junk food. There are times when I do splurge and have 1 slice of cheese pizza because I figure if I allow it once in a great while, I'm less likely to fall off track.
I exercise no less than an hour a day. I either do pilates or aerobics then afterwards I will lift weights, do squats, lunges, situps, and push ups. I've also started parking in the farthest spot from the store, work, school to walk. anytime I can fit in any extra exercise, I do. Weather its a bike ride, walk or just running around outside after the little ones. If I see an opportunity, I grab it. Instead of sitting in front of the tv, I will do sit ups or leg lifts or grab the 5 lb weight because I could be moving while watching. thats all in addition to my 1 hour I allote myself.
Im also giving myself milestone treats. Like at 10 lbs I went and had a facial and my eyebrows done. At 20 lbs I'm going to have my hair redone. (right now its brown w/ the blond undercoloring but its becoming too popular and I want something different) Just little incentives that I already give myself but have to wait till I hit the weight loss goal before I give in!

Wow smfritz, that's great!!! If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have to lose? Were you trying a 1200 cal diet before Alli or did you coincide the beginning of the diet w/ the Alli?
I think I might try this after we get back from WDW on Sept 26th. I have this sneaking suspicion that my 30lbs left to lose will turn to 40 by the end of Sept. :guilty:

I want to lose 30 lbs and that will have me in my target for my height. I was almost 190 when I started and down to 173 now. Anything less than 160 and I'm happy. Just 4 years ago I weighed 130 lbs and that was not enough for my height. (I'm 5'9" 1/2) So I will settle for 150-160. Also, I am very athletic--love playing sports and coaching the kids. So I want to have awesome muscle tone at the expense of what it will show me looking on the scale. I've learned that it's not what you weight--but in the reason why you are that weight. Since muscle weights more than fat, but is leaner--I want that look vs the rail look w/ no muslce tone! lol
The 1200 calorie diet I started when I started Alli. I will do blueberry or honey oat waffles by Kashi or honey nut cheerios (with or without milk) for breakfast or something similar. A weight watchers or lean cuisine meal for lunch since im on the go at work. Dinner varies--last night we had taco salad (no tortilla chips) and still stayed under.

Thanks for the info!!! Have you had any "effects"?
I started at 218 and have gotten down to 174 through a 1200 cal diet, lots of exercise, and some use of the Mega-T Green Tea supplement. I am also very active, hit the gym 4-5 times a week and play ice hockey. I am 5'8 and want to be 145, but I would be happy with 150.
My daily diet sounds pretty similar to yours... I also do a psuedo McMuffin for b-fast, which is a 100-cal English muffin with a 1/4 of nuked eggbeaters and a few reduced fat bacon bits. Lean Pockets bacon, egg, cheese is another option for me.
I just know that our Sept trip (14-26) is going to throw me off, and I thought maybe Alli would help DH and I get back on after our trip.

Haven't noticed any effects at all. But I can't think of really going over my fat intake either. I'm too scared to attempt that! I'm not sure if it's the pill or the eating right w/ exercise that is making me lose the weight and get in shape. But that pill sure makes certain I don't have the urge to slip and stop in at a fast food restaurant for dinner when we are in a rush! lol I have noticed that I have to make myself eat anymore. I just am not hungry at all.
I know a few days I was lucky to hit 600 calories and I am burning more than that in a day.
Wow--you have done really great!!! I think as long as you watch portion size at Disney, you will do enough walking around to burn calories!

Thanks!!! It has been a struggle.
However, I know myself (and my DH) well enough to know that 12 days at WDW will be a hit to my loss. Also watching portions on the DDP is very likely not to happen. I am just trying to set up a game plan to recover after the fact!

For those who have had Treatment Effects - do they occur when you go to the bathroom, or could I be sitting at work and have leakage? Sorry, I don't know how else to phrase it. Question - Is there anyone that was actively dieting prior to adding Alli to your diet plan? Did Alli seem to make a big difference in increasing the amount of weight you were loosing. Was it a big difference or just a couple of lbs a month more? I have been doing Weight Watchers for the past 8 months actively and have lost about 35 lbs in that time (60 over the past 2 years). I would love to kick it up and loose an additional 4-5 lbs or so a month. Are you finding it working that way? I've been trying to decide if I should try adding Alli to my plan since I already have a low fat diet. Thanks for any info you can offer.

I tried this. I had lost about 15 pounds on WW and added Alli to my WW routine. According to the Alli bottle- Alli is not for me, because I had a BMI in the healthy range. I took a capsule with every meal and never had treatment effects aside from 1 or 2 occasions where my stomach would churn a little bit. It did not kick my weight loss up at all. I stayed the same weight for 3 weeks on Alli. I think my diet is very low fat anyway so that may be why I wasn't seeing much impact.

I'm starting a diet this week, and I may try Alli when I'm off work for 2 weeks in Dec. (I'm afraid of having the side effects at work!) I'm interested in the answer to this question as well.
I think in KarlaG4Kids' case, she should really ramp up the exercise. You also might want to Google "The Wendy Plan" for WW users. It's when you alternate the amount you eat and exercise during the course of a week.

Hello! I wanted to share what I have been able to accomplish over 8 weeks.
I was 163 when I started only with NutriSystem 8 weeks ago (I am 36 and 5ft 5 in tall). I bit the bullet and spent well over $300 on their food plus all the fresh fruit/veggies they ask you to supply yourself...I did this diet religiously for 4 weeks...wrote everything down, no cheats at all, went back to the gym 3-4 days a week and only dropped to 156 (it was ok but I really expected more since I ate TERRIBLY before starting any diet)...
I could not bare the thought of spending another $280 for the food shippment for 4 more weeks so I started looking into Alli :surfweb: . I read about the horribe warnings of TE's but then was pleasantly surprised that SO MANY people don't even experience these...found a starter Alli program kit for $39.99 and thought I would try it....since I had been on NS for 4 weeks, I was already in the know about portion control, writing stuff down and exercise so I crossed my fingers and started Alli :scared1: .....
4 weeks later I am down to 143.5 and no TE's (and I have a terrible stomach...I thought at one point over this summer that I had I.B.S. because I would get such back pains but I now I realized it was really just from all the bad food I would eating). I cannot tell people enough about how much I love this product. I get to eat better on this than NS...usually a Lean Cuisine for Dinner and steamed veggies which really fills me up!... I have to say since starting Alli I only exercise 2 or 3 times a week and even had a cheat day (Sunday's when DH is home and we watch football! :cheer2: ) and I am STILL LOOSING WEIGHT! :woohoo:
I do write every single thing down and track it on MY ALLI but it helps to see that I am getting the right amount of carbs, protien, FATS, and calories. I still have 8 more pounds to go to reach my goal of 135 by my Christmas Trip to Disney on 12/18/07 and I really think I have a great shot at reaching that goal :dance3:
I hope that anyone "thinking" about starting Alli will see this as one more reason not to be scared and go for it...I know reading the positives was the only reason I got the courage and yeah for all you!!!:grouphug:

Stephanie, thanks for your story!
I think I am going to start this for real on Friday.. I have been on the fence about spending the money. I had lost 45 lbs w/ low calorie as of Sept but 2 WDW trips have derailed me and I have gained 5-8 of it back, and I think I need a kickstart. I really need to lose at least 30 more.
So tell me to get off my butt and spend the money! $40 isn't that much, equivalent to one bad-for-you restaurant meal!

Okay thread hog (and thread-killer) here... I bought Alli on Wednesday and started it last night, as they recommend. So far no treatment effects, although I am only on my 2nd pill. I get up late on weekends so I will likely only be taking 2 each weekend day and 3 each weekday.
I am 5'8" and weighed 180.2 as of this morning. I would like to weigh 145/150. My start weight in February was 218 but I have lost almost 38 through diet/exercise alone... however, I have lost nothing since Sept so I am hoping this is a jumpstart.
I try to hit the gym at least 4 times a week, 25-30 min of cardio and 2-3 times adding weight training, so I supposed I belong in the "moderate" activity range.
I have been doing 1200 calories, but it recommends 1800 for my height/weight/activity level... I may compromise and do 1500. Any suggestions from those of you who have had success with Alli?

Ok so i am going to buy it tomorrow. What are you plans for Thanksgiving? The day of feasting??
I am 169 now and I would like to be at 130, that i was 1.5 years ago. So 39 pounds to go for me.
I would like to be down at least 15# before I leave for DL for Christmas.

I am on day 6 now, and was 176 as of this morning. So roughly 4 lbs in 6 days, not too shabby.
So far, no real side effects. I have noticed a bit of oil, but no sudden or uncontrollable type issues. Yesterday I had 2 meals, one w/ 24 g fat and one w/ 26 g fat, just to see, and it seemed to go okay. I have been sticking to approx 1300-1500 calories.
For t-giving I think I am going to feast but not take Alli for that day. It may come back to haunt me but at least I am at home!

Hey all - I've been on Alli for just over three weeks now. No TE so far, thank goodness even though we did a couple of food & wine events at Epcot over the last few weeks. I've only lost about 4 pounds, but I'm okay with that. My main reason for deciding to take Alli was that I needed to lose about 10 pounds to fit into a bridesmaid dress, and the wedding is smack dab in the middle of the holidays. Alli has definitely proved to be a great willpower enhancer!
Speaking of holidays, does anybody have any recipes or suggestions for Thanksgiving next week? I'm planning to make a few "safe" items (cranberry relish, angel food cake, maybe low-fat mashed potatoes) to take to the in-laws next week. Here's the cranberry sauce I plan to make:
Cranberry-Orange Sauce
The cooking time in this recipe is intended for fresh berries. If you've got frozen cranberries, do not defrost them before use; just pick through them and add about 2 minutes to the simmering time. Orange juice adds little flavor, but we found that zest and liqueur pack the orange kick we were looking for in this sauce.
Makes about 2 1/4 cups
3/4 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1/4 teaspoon table salt
1 (12-ounce) bag cranberries , picked through
2 tablespoons orange liqueur (such as Triple Sec or Grand Marnier)
Bring water, sugar, orange zest, and salt to boil in medium nonreactive saucepan over high heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve sugar. Stir in cranberries; return to boil. Reduce heat to medium; simmer until saucy, slightly thickened, and about two-thirds of berries have popped open, about 5 minutes. Off heat; stir in orange liqueur. Transfer to nonreactive bowl, cool to room temperature, and serve. (Can be covered and refrigerated up to 7 days; let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving.)

Here is a receipe for fat free turkey gravy. I got it from my WW leader but I have not tried it myself.
Foolproof Fat-Free Gravy
Makes 2 1/2 cups
2 cups turkey drippings
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp unbleached flour
1/2 cup skim milk
Defat the pan drippings by placing them in a fat separator cup. (If you don't have a separator cup, pour the drippings into a bowl, add a few ice cubes, and skim off the fat once it rises and hardens.) Combine the fat-free drippings, pepper, poultry seasoning, and bouillon granules in a 1 quart saucepan, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. While the gravy is heating, combine the flour and milk in a jar with a tight-fitting lid, and shake until smooth. Slowly add the milk mixture to the simmering broth, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Continue to cook and stir until the gravy is thick and bubbly. Transfer the gravy to a warmed gravy boat or pitcher, and serve hot with the turkey.
POINTS: 0.5
SERVING SIZE: 2 tablespoons
PER SERVING: 14 Calories, 0 g Fat, 0 g Fiber, 0 mg Cholesterol, 0.8 g Protein, 50 mg Sodium
Of course I wouldn't bathe the turkey in butter to cook it (like I used to do) or the drippings would have a lot of butter fat in it.

I've been wondering how everyone has been doing on this?
I saw this on TV the morning after Thanksgiving saying that it is approved by FDA but has some not so good side effects with loose BMs. However, it was reported that this product has success.
I do WISH everyone is finding the way that works for them and wonder the opinions here since many have been using this for a time now.

I am doing very well on it. I think yesterday was 18 weeks that I have been on it. With everythign else I have been doing (exercising at least 30 minutes a day, lots of water and healthy portions), I lost 33 pounds in that time, 53 pounds since the new year and my new healthier lifestyle started.
I am 2 pounds till my goal of being on the BMI chart for the edge of healthy/overweight line for my height. After the new year I want to focus on toning and maybe a new WW goal of the middle section of the healthy weight of the BMI chart.
I am not sure how mych longer I will stay on Alli though, I think 6 months is the max recommended. I know it is just a tool to get me to where I want and I have to keep the changes I made. I have to learn to keep me healthy but I have been overweight all my life and it is nice help to get me to "square one" for my new impoved healthier life.
Don't cheat though:rolleyes1

I did well on it for the 1.5 weeks that I tried it for in November... T-giving came and pushed me right off the wagon. I lost about 5 lbs that week.
I restarted on Sunday. I average about 15-25 g of fat a meal, and am at about 1400 calories a day.
I have had treatment effects, I guess, but nothing I couldn't control. I have one word for you... OIL. TMI, perhaps, but your BMs will be very oily. However, I see that as it working!
No nausea, no cramps, nothing like that.

Glad to read everyones responses here. I am considering using this also. I am 48 and will be getting married this November in Disney and really want to lose weight before then (at least 40 pounds). I was wondering what everyones long-term results were. After you go off did you put the weight back on? I have a Drs. appointment next Wednesday and I will probably speak with him about this before starting anything.
Thanks,

I also purchased MyAlli, but I have not started it yet - there's always tomorrow!!
I'm running in the Disney Half Marathon, so I set a goal to start using it after that!! I'm trying not to alter my program too much until after that!!
But, its just sitting in the bottle, right next to the computer! One day at a time. I'm focusing on healthier choices, and portion control.. and drinking more water and less Dr Pepper!!

I did it... I started last week (January 2) and I am down 4.5 lbs. No side effects or treatment effects. I would say try it don't be afraid... I was but it's worth it.
I have a question for those who are taking it. The book says take it with your meal. Does that mean before during or after or does it matter.
HockeyKat

I decided to give up on it... I really didn't see any results that I didn't see from a low-calorie plan and exercise, without it.
However, I wouldn't be afraid of it and if it can help you stick to your plan, it is worth the $$ for you.
I think the treatment effects are highly overexaggerated in the media.... I could eat up to 30 g of fat in a meal and nothing. Maybe that is why it didn't really work for me.

You can take it up 1 1/2hrs after a meal. Just when starting a meal, with a meal or immediately after is probably most effective. Taking it in advance of meal is less effective (like 1-2 hours before).
I actually purchased some to use in June when it first became OTC. I've used it, but didn't notice much effect other than slightly looser stools. I didn't see any acceleration of weight loss. However, it has no effect if there is no fat in your diet, and I have really been strict about fat in the diet. I have also had some crampiness, like before my period.

I have been doing WW, Alli and stepped up my hours in the gym so I can't say for sure that it is Alli but the combination of all is going great. I only take it for lunch and dinner. I figure I will use up the bottle and then be done just stick to WW and the gym. I only need to lose 10-15 lbs so I am hoping by the end of the bottle WW and the gym will be fine.

This is pretty much how I feel after I take it, but only for a couple of hours--it usually clears up by the next morning, the latest. I only take it for the evening meal, because for breakfast I have fruit, and lunch is a salad with some grilled chicken cut up on it with fat free dressing (that I bring from home). The evening meal is usually whatever I am preparing for the family. Yesterday we had grilled buffalo wings, celery, broccoli. I made baked fries for the family, and I had maybe three of them. Thursday evening, I had the same thing, but, it was the first day of my period, and I had my cramps. I hurt so bad from the combination that I wasn't able to exercise. But, it does help with the constipation.
When the Alli (Orlistat) was prescription only, I very rarely prescribed it for my patients, mainly because I want my patients to like me and to come back and see me. Reading and knowing the potential side effects of the medication was very daunting for me. Now, I let patients know it is available and let them decide if they want to try it. I did, and I think that I was correct in thinking that some (most) of my patients would not have liked me if I gave them a medication for weight loss that didn't really make them lose weight much faster than they would on their own, but gave them stomach cramps and diarrhea as side effects.

Wow, this thread kind of went dead. I just started taking alli this evening with dinner and I'm anxious to see how it works. I'm a teacher too, so I figured I'd do this now and make sure I can manage any TE's as running to the bathroom in the middle of my huge French 1 class probably wouldn't go over well. :) Hopefully more people will jump in now that it's summer!

If anyone is still on this thread I thought I'd let you know that I just completed 1 full day on alli and lost 1.8 pounds (doing wii fit too). No TE's so far, but I didn't max out my 19 grams of fat per meal, so no problem. It's WORKING and I can't believe it! I have had no TE's and I even went to see Harry Potter yesterday and had a medium popcorn with a smidge of butter (didn't take an alli until last evening). Still losing! If anyone is on the fence about it, I'd say try it, this is the first thing that has worked for me.

Hi PB - I've been on it now for 2 1/2 weeks, lost 9 pounds (I am exercising as well) and have had NO treatment effects. Before alli, I used to eat whatever I wanted, didn't think about calories, fat, carbs. But now, I'm really watching my fat and calorie intake. It hasn't been too hard, but it does take planning. And my DH is grumbling because there are no chips or ice cream in the house. :lmao: I feel so much better, just after 2 1/2 weeks, stronger, lighter, younger! You CAN do it, believe me. I haven't seen this kind of results for me ever, so I'm going to stick with it. Good luck, and keep us posted on how you're doing.

So how did you prepare to start? What are you eating now? I would like to lose like 20lbs. I attend fitness bootcamp 5 days a week and I don't eat THAT badly. I do have my occassional treats and if I really wanted something that I probably shouldn't have I get it. I will never be supermodel thin and I am fine with that. I just want to be healthy.

I didn't really prepare, I just made sure that I had my fridge stocked for a few days with fruits and veg (luckily I LOVE them) and bought some boneless, skinless chicken breast, then jumped right in. I've had no problems whatsoever. It sounds as if you won't need to adjust too much at all if you're already eating right and exercising - I bet you'll be just fine and will drop those extra 20 easily. On the alli website they have a pretty good community board and a registered dietician has put tons of information in there that is really helpful. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

Oh sorry, about what I'm eating now. Luckily I love chicken and fish, so that's my main source of protein and since it's summer I'm grilling a ton of veggies. I use low fat stuff, but I don't go crazy with it, because I found that I can use the real stuff, just less of it. My meals have to be 15 grams of fat or less and I'm supposed to have 1800 calories per day, but I find that it's hard for me to make that every day - I'm usually in the 1400-1500 range. I also avoid all of the whites - flour, sugar, potatoes and stick to whole grains. I make sure to take my multi-vitamin, E, Omega 3 and Calcium every day just to be sure I'm getting all of my vitamins, and I really do feel great.

I have a question. Is it the actual Alli that helps you loose the weight or is it being too scared to eat fatening food because of the side affects?
I want to loose my last 10 lbs but it is getting hard. I've started eating right again and continue to do my daily pilates for exercise. Depending on your answers I'm contemplating trying Alli.
Thanks Everyone!

Hi there! From what I understand alli blocks a small percentage of the fat that you eat, so it doesn't get absorbed into your body. It doesn't suppress your appetite or anything like that (I wish!). When you eat over the suggested amount of fat grams per meal, you have the "treatment effects" which I guess can be horrifying. My sister tried it but didn't change how she ate and had some bad experiences, if you know what I mean. I haven't had any problems, but I've followed the plan religiously for almost 4 weeks (lost 14 pounds). It's not hard for me at all and I bet if you eat right, you'd be fine taking the alli. You have to have some fat in your diet for your body, so they don't want you to completely eliminate fat. The website is pretty good for getting more info - good luck to you if you do decide to try it and let us know how it works for you!

Just wanted to say Hello:wave2: I started taking Alli yesterday and so far, so good. I always weigh myself in the mornings (most mornings, when I know I haven't been bad :rolleyes1) and yesterday went great.. I followed the meal plan in the book they give you as the food sounded good and different from normal so I thought I'd try it... I didn't experience any "treatment effects" and generally followed their guidelines, and it appears that I've lost 2 pounds, although the same 4 pounds has been yo-yo-ing on and off of me for the past 3 months, so I'm not too excited yet... but so far I'm loving Alli! Just thought I'd share for anyone else starting or thinking of starting. Congrats for loosing the 14 pounds.. that's great and gives me encouragement. I really want to get rid of this last 20 pounds of "baby fat" and another 10 of pre-baby fat :)

Hi sailorswfe! Welcome and congratulations on your first successful day on alli! I'm now at 16 pounds lost and going strong! I have to go to a conference tomorrow at Princeton until Friday and I'm a bit worried about the food options, so I'm not going to take the pills with me. I figure I can't derail myself too much because after all, it takes 3500 calories to gain a pound and I doubt I'll add that much in 3 days. Plus there's a fitness center there, so I'll be working my butt off in the evenings to make up for any "problems" I encounter at mealtimes. Keep up the great work and keep us posted!
