Husband and I did the Surial bath, we had so much about it we decided to try it. Something that neither of us would normally do. Gotta try new things.
You go to the desk, they escort you both into seperate changing locker rooms, you change, put things in locker, and put on a big fluffy white robe. You can either go in your birthday suit or bathing suit. You go into a room with a shower, the attendant will explain to you what you should do, there are shampoos, conditioners, body washes to use. They want you to try their products of course, then you shower, she will start the steam in the adjoining room, after showering you go into the steam room, you start with the one kind of mud, which goes on legs and back, another goes on arms and chest and one goes on the face and arms, you look so funny, you will look at each other at one point and totally crack up laughing and wonder what would make you do this. Then you let the mud sit 15 minutes, then there is a sorta salt that you rub all over, it exfoliates the skin, actually the whole process does feel really cleansing. When you are done you rinse off in the steam room where there are these shower ares that you can sit in and the shower heads are on your head, arms and back . They did not work very well for us, so ask her to show you how they work before she leaves, after you rinse off you can enjoy sitting in the steam room, then you can dry off and they leave you massaging oils and lotions to put on. I liked the milk bath lotion. Any way that sorta sums it up, they do not bother you, they will knock when you have about 10 minutes left and then we just left and went to the dressing rooms when we were done, then back to the desk. It was fun, and relaxing. Next time I would like to try a body massage. Hope this helped.

I guess you haven't seen the new commercials for Disney. A mother pushing a baby carriage and her young son are on an elevator. He's talking excitedly about their vacation to WDW. Of course, the others on the elevator think they just got back from Disney. The mother states that no it was about a year ago. Then the boy says that his mother refers to his new sibling as her little souvenir.
If you have read any of the descriptions of the Surial Bath, you realize that the Spa Attendants leave you alone and lock the door for an hour for a reason.:pinkbounc
Have fun!

The baby is a boy, but the kid talking is a little girl. ;)
The Surial Bath is lots of fun. Definitely something you need to try at least once. Not only for the fun of it, but because your skin feels so good afterwards. And thank God we didnt get that souvenier! ;)

I think the child talking in the commercial is a boy. He has curly hair, but I definitely thought he was a boy. :)

I thought it was a girl. I'll look more carefully the next time I see the ad.

Spouse and I agree (!) - kid doing all the talking in the advert is a little girl, baby in the param is a boy. ;)
The only thing our attendant asked is that we not leave handprints on the ceiling, since apparently these are tough to get at and clean up.
Now, they must have some pretty interesting parties in this place for people to leave handprints on the ceiling.
Sorry I can't provide specifics about how they clean, but a 10% concentration of Clorox will kill most anything, and our spa room was perfectly clean when we entered.

Oops! Could be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time. ;) It was just that I thought it was a girl so I didnt want people looking for the commercial to be looking for the wrong thing. Sorry to start a controversy.
Ok, look for a kid, a mother and a baby in an elevator, with other people. :D

I just saw it. She is wearing a skirt in the elevator and then when they show her on the island its definitely a girls bathing suit that shes wearing.

I feel out of the loop here. All the people at work love that commercial, I have yet to see it. What channel are you people watching?

We've been trying to see the commercial as well?
Can anyone tell us which channel or programs usually show it?
Thanks!
