I hate my camera!

I have the Canon A530 and it takes the worst indoor pictures. The only thing nice about it is the 4x zoom which most basic digital cameras don't have.

Can anyone recommend a good point and shoot camera under $250?

I bought the Fuji F31fd about a month ago - I've been very happy with the pictures that I've taken. They have a $30 rebate going on right now (I believe thru the end of July) so my cost was just under $250. Here's some info if you're interested:

Canon s2 I believe is under $300. My girlfriend loves it.

I am curious, what ISO are you shooting on? I always try and use 100 ISO. The higher the ISO the yuckier the pictures. IMO. Maybe not all cameras but the ones I've owned.

I've tried all of the different settings, iso's, etc. I still don't like the way they come out. Thanks for all the input!
