Thanks to Dara for sending this my way. It was just too funny not to share it
This is why the Internet is the greatest media created in history.
Takes 60 seconds to do this.
I guarantee you will show someone else, it's too funny not to.
1. go to www.google.com
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions"
4. type " New York " in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type " London " in the second box (the "to" box)
(hit get directions)
6. scroll down to step #21

:lmao: On Google Earth it gives you a path to follow so you don't get lost at sea (and wind up in Davy Jone's Locker). I accidently put a place under the place I was searching because I wanted to see the new place and it gave me directions. Swim across the Atlantic Ocean Entering France....ahh :rotfl:
.:PDAZ:.

LOL, I posted a thread a while ago about this too (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1437622&referrerid=&highlight=Hilarious+Google+Directions), It also works with a lot of other locations that cross Atlantic. So funny :rotfl: .

I love the internet. It is my biggest hobby, I can research all my other hobbies. It's like the biggest library in the world. :surfweb:

Well, I think that this is inaccurate.
You obviously swim about 20 feet, realize what you are doing, attempt to swim back, get caught by currents for the next 10 miles while you float on your back, fight off sharks with underwater ninja skills, hitch a ride on an elephant (you know, the underwater kind,) for the next 1,000 miles, stopping to eat floating fine dining, have the elephant throw you off, tossing you a distance of 20 miles (underwater elephants are strong,) swim some more, light a fire for warmth, swim some more, get attacked by seagulls, swim more, and eventually get teleported to France by a passing Magical, Flying, People-Teleporting Llama.
Google totally got it wrong.
