Thanks to all of you for your posts on this board...
I thought I'd give my 2 cents on our dinner. I generally don't go for buffets... one reason... I always eat more than I need... which I again did!

But I really couldn't complain here, except for our table location (and if I'd research longer... I probably would have known to ask for something different... we were just happy to be seated!) We showed up 1 hour early and were seated in 3 minutes! Nice!

First I think price is a bargain in Disney standards. (At Artist Point, we paid $45 for just the salmon & a barley side... I know different type of salmon, etc... but just looking at $$$)

Next time, I'll request a table toward the pool windows... for more atmosphere. We were seated near the buffet... and that area has plenty of activity.

We enjoyed the salad... steamed shrimp... BBQ ribs... salmon was good too... didn't care for the carved steak or beef tips with mushrooms... wish they could have kept bread hotter somehow... dessert buffet had nice selection... flan, cheese cake, german choc brownies and plenty more!

Forgot to get clam chowder... it looked a little dark for what I'm used to... maybe next time!

Thanks to everyone for their posts!

Was the steamed shrimp hot or is it still the cold peel and eat from the salad bar. We liked the hot shrimp but it was gone last month while we were there.

i remember back in '95, you could get an add-on lobster there for something like $25 - ah, memories....

I'm a hot shrimp fan too...
you mean sometimes they serve it that way...
yummy!

Unfortuantely,
this was cold.

But still delicious!

It was always the hot shrimp with spices served on the seafood side with the other seafood. But our last trip (last month), I was shocked to see that it is now cold and on the salad bar. I was bummed. I was hoping that you would tell me that it was back on the hot side again and I was just having a bad night last month.
