We booked a cruise that gives us $150 onboard credit per stateroom. What can it be used on? I know that drinks can but what about shore excursions, gift shop items, spa services, etc. Just wantint to make sure before we go about spending cash. Thanks.

for all the things you listed, or in shutters as well.

The wonderful things about onboard credits is that you can use them for anything. It is like you took $150 and put it down at the beginning of the cruise. Then as you charge things to your room using your key to the world card it reduces that amount. Shore excursions, bar tabs, and purchases in the shop all qualify.

Anytime you want you can go to guest services and get a print out of your account.

Stow your cash in the safe....on the ship and on castaway cay you will only use the key to the world (kttw) card which is like a credit card to your stateroom account. They will apply that credit to your account. Use it on anything..... We used cash only on the islands....taxi's, beach chairs, umbrellas, souveniers, food, etc.

Your onboard credit can even be used to pay your tips if they are charged to your stateroom account.

Please check with my wife.....she would have about 25 ideas on how to spend $150 on board!!! Seriously, the tips alone will eat up at least $150.
