Rehearsal & Brunch

So its now October 3, 2008- the day before the wedding.... I NEED COFFEE:coffee: - its 8am and I am in the process of getting my hair blown out by my cousin... My room is filled with family so excited for the rehearsal...

We chose a morning rehearsal, so everyone can go to the parks and relax for the rest of the day...

Rehearsal began at 9:30 at the Wedding Pavilion...

Its 9am and ALL my cousins (wedding party) are in my room ready to go... but we had a huge box with all bridal party gifts, my rehearsal bouquet and so forth... So we call downstairs and get a bell boy to help us with our box and take us to the wedding pavilion..

HOLY MOLY its my rehearsal day....:crazy2: ..lol

CONT of DAY 2

So before we got seated at 8:45pm... I decided to go to the bathroom first and freshen myself up a bit... I get out and meet Geancarlo in the waiting area with these long booths... So we are sitting waiting for the buzzard to go off and this family with 3 kids and with another couple with their kids come near us to sit down... Well I see this little girl run towards me and jumps on top the seat next to me... I felt like I was on Tower of terror because I lift my seat about 2".... I look at Geancarlo with this face like HURRY BUZZARD PLEASE... well the parents dont even say anything... so then her brother about a year or two older than her... She must have been 5 or 6 the max... He decides to tickle her :rotfl2: well she is sitting on my left so he tickles her so bad that her WHOLE half of her body is on my lap... her long hair all over me... I made a groan and she looked at me like OOOps Im sorry... So I look at the Parents and to see if they saw.. YEA THEY SAW... but they didnt say anything...

8:45pm YEY the buzzard went off... WHEW.....

We sat near the sushi bar... no good view of the fireworks but being with my fiance makes up for it...

I was so thirsty for water that I downed 2 glasses before the appetizers came out....

We had shrimp and vegetable tempura

I have been wanting these buddha boards for a LONG time... they are the blank canvas and you dip the paintbrush in water and you paint and it disappears after awhile... I love anything asian so I bought it.. I want it for my office... when I am stuck on a thought...lol:rotfl2:

Hi, I have just sat here for many hours reading through 105 pages about your wedding and looked at all 700 odd photos and now I have to post a message.

I happened to notice the picture you posted in another thread to show your bridesmaid dresses, when I suddenly realised, I WAS AT THE GRAND FLORIDIAN THE DAY YOU GOT MARRIED AND SAW YOU!!!!!!

I am from England, and sometimes after wandering around the parks we go an sit in those ever so comfy chairs at the GF and soak up the atmosphere.

Well on that particular, I was sitting and saw many people dressed so beautifully that I said to my Dad 'there must be a beautiful wedding here today'. Being as I love weddings and Disney I went for a walk as I thought, 'wow if the guests look this good, the bride must look amazing' and I was not wrong!! There you were on the stairs having photos taken with your bridesmaids, absolutely beautiful, I have never seen a more amazing dress.:worship:

I went back and sat in the chairs and after a while, thought the wedding party is still here, I bet the bride has the glass coach. Well I went running over to the doors, just in time to see you get in the coach! (I must admit I took a couple of pictures at that point, hope that wasn't too rude!) I had seen weddings there before, but never with such a beautiful dress or the coach. It truely was what dream are made of!princess:

I cannot believe that you were on here all the time, sharing your wedding plans, what a co-incidence. I raved about your dress and how lovely everything was to my friends and family and always wondered how beautiful the rest of your wedding was, and now I have seen it, thank you so much for sharing and letting us all see how lovely your day was!

Everyone really enjoyed the food, my little ones enjoyed the characters..lol

Everyone went crazy over Stitch and Mickey, they kept telling me how much fun they are having

my attention, Here was my speech

" I would like to get everyones attention please, I would first and foremost like to thank each and everyone of you for being here this weekend, many of you drove hours or flew to Orlando to see us get married... and I thank you tremendously. We hope you are having a great time here in WDW and we hope to see you come back here for a future trip.... CHEERS!!!"

After the Rehearsal brekafast everyone was itching to get to the parks, well Geancarlo gave me first part of my wedding gift which was a day at the GF spa:scared1: Yes I sooo needed it...

Well My cousin MArissa and I went to the GF after breakfast and made a reservation for an hour long massage, pedi and mani for 3pm...

Everyone dispersed back to their hotels and to the parks, some family were at the GF so they lounged by the pool with drinks and food...

So after the rehearsal, the family went to the parks, or lounged by the Grand Floridian pool..
My cousin Marissa and I went and enjoyed a GREAT and relaxing time at the spa..

We entered the spa- sorry I forgot my camera
But we changed into our robes and went for an hour long massage
Then pedi and mani-

Great way to relieve the pre wedding jitters
After we finished at the spa- we went to meet the somewhat of the entire family laying out and just having an AWESOME time

They see Marissa and I walk and they all start screaming “YEY Here comes the Bride” “HERE SHE IS”
They are all crazy

So I said hello to family that flew in from Jersey, NY, MO, and central Florida, some of the kids were in the pool others
Were playing ping pong… My younger cousins ran up to me to tell me that it was such a great idea that I got married
In Disney…

After saying hello for about an hour it was around 6pm so Marissa and I went to Gasparilla’s to get some food
We ate at Gasparilla’s for some peace and quiet then we headed back to the pool area

After having fun by the pool for hours and hours of just enjoying being with family it was 10pm and my mom wanted me in bed early for tomorrows big day…. I went upstairs to shower and hit the bed for my last night as a single girl… I first slept in between my parents (yes I am a baby) lol

So I woke up at 8:30am from my mom saying “Its your wedding day”

I got up and brushed my teeth and went to look out the balcony. I can’t believe it the day has FINALLY arrived. It was my wedding day. Some of my cousins came into my room singing and dancing… My aunts came in too laughing..

My mom called maid service to come make the beds, she was going to do it but I said “Mom I don’t want you lifting a finger today, call maid service to do it.”

So the maids cleaned up our room, made the beds and now it started to get hectic..

I jumped in the shower… HOLY MOLY my last single woman shower… Yea I thought of that…lol

I got out and of course MORE people in my room. I grabbed my pre bridal gear and changed.
My dad went to Gasparillas to get breakfast for all of us and he ran into my great friend/hairdresser

Now I have known her since 3rd grade, my mom went to HS with her parents… So my dad brought her up to our room and opens the door and says ‘LOOK who I ran into”

Aghhhh Karina _Yey you made it… So dad starts getting her order for breakfast and out he goes..
He ran into the ENTIRE family hanging out by the pool enjoying breakfast..

So Karina started on my Sisters hair and makeup

Carolyn Allen showed up to start steaming the dresses and then Beaute Speciale, then Randy, Then Sage from Star Fruit Productions
It was a FULL room

So after Randy left my room it was about 3pm. He headed down to the lobby area to meet with the guys and take pics. Thats when Michelle called and said 45 minutes to go..

My makeup wasnt even done yet, we all started running around like mad dogs getting things done..

By 3:30 makeup was done and the dress went on... They told me to wait until 3:45 to head downstairs, that way the guys are done and they wont see us.

So all my girls start helping me out with my insane heavy dress

So the music starts playing and Geancarlo's grandfather was the only one that was able to walk b/c when my grandparents got there my grandma fell and it the back of her head and they called rescue,.. (she tripped on the step at the curb)

I wasnt there yet I was at the GF taking pics and the EMT's checked her and she was fine but had a big gash in her head:sad1:
They made sure the rescue was gone before I showed up...

When I got into the coach ready to head to WP a guy said to my mom "your mom is ok, the rescue is leaving now"

I said "WHAT, what happened to Abuela (grandma)? Is she ok?"

The guy was like "Ooops I wasnt suppose to say anything"
My mom says "She is fine she just fell, take it easy, they checked her and she is OK"

I couldnt stop thinking about her on my way to the WP... and then with all the commotion I forgot about what ahappened...

ok back to the wedding

Just so you all know my grandma was just fine, she had a headache but after the wedding they tookm her to ER and they did more tests, poor thing had a HUGE bang in the back that turned black and blue

so now

The father kept on with his sermon and then asked for the rings

So Rev. Day asked DH brother for the rings and he remembered that the wedding planner asked for the rings before th ceremony so the Rev can bless them... LOL that is the trick

so his brother Renzo turned red and couldnt believe that he doesnt have the rings, Rev. Day turned to my sister and she nodded no

so thats when the trumpets blared and out came the major domo.... you heard everyone gasp , he walked into "When you wish upon a star"

As we were pronounced husband and wife the confetti canons would pop and confetti would be blown throughout the WP. I chose the colors Blush pink, ivory and brown... Well the colors were red, blue, gree, yellow:sad2:... My EYES:eek:opened and I couldnt believe it... I saw my WP in disgust:sad2:

Its fine I told myself, she came up to me and apologized profusly, I said "Michelle its fine, no worries, can we do the confetti in the reception since this went bad...lol" she said that was her next suggestion:idea:

She ran to my dad and told him that she was sorry and what they were going to do, he was fine with it as well....

Oh my Christina I'm crying just like everyone else. When I got married (almost 13 years ago) I didn't get nervous or get upset up until I was standing right outside the church doors when I was waiting for my girls to walk down so they could close the door before I went in. I turned to my stepdad and said "ok now I'm nervous". Then the rings, I could hear that song playing in my head and everyone turning to see what was coming. That was great. Your pictures are awesome, the colors were stunning (love pink and brown) and the flowers I can't say enough words on how much I loved them.

As we were pronounced husband and wife the confetti canons would pop and confetti would be blown throughout the WP. I chose the colors Blush pink, ivory and brown... Well the colors were red, blue, gree, yellow:sad2:... My EYES:eek:opened and I couldnt believe it... I saw my WP in disgust:sad2:

I couldn't imagine how that felt. So sorry.

Ok I had quoted a post because there was a picture of you and DH kissing in the WP with Cinderella's castle in the background (but blurry). I love that picture.

After the dances it was now time for the Best MAn and Maid of Honour speech... I am going to see if I can get it onto a video b/c the best man speech was so hilarious that til this day people come over to the house to see it, and my sister had an emotional speech that left the guests crying...

The band announced the BM and MOH and then the song "Im bringing Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake started playing and Renzo and ALexis started dancing their way to the dance floor:rotfl:and the guests were laughing and clapping

Aww twin the pictures with you and your daddy were so sweet. I know how you feel about the song Daddy's Little Girl. Ever since I heard that song when I was little I knew I wanted to dance with my dad to it at my wedding. It's such a sweet song.

So I'm sitting here and thinking...I remember when she started this report. It seems like yesterday. I remember thinking that this was going to be one of the most beautiful weddings I had ever seen on the boards and I have to say now that I was right. Your wedding and reception looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and STUNNING!!! I love all of your pictures, especailly the one of you and DH staring into each others eyes while dancing and you and your Dad as well. What got me crying was when Alexis called me what our Abuelo use to call us when we were little.. My fathers father lived with us for many years after my Abuela passed away, he use to call us his little Curuchita (coo rrroo chee ta)
It was his little nickname for us.. So Lex says "From one Curuchita to another" thats when I cried :sad1:

What was funny during dinner, I sat my 2 cousins with their wives at the table with my boss and his girlfriend.. Well I never told me cousins to behave themselves b/c they are such party animals... Anyways they started talking about me and me growing up and my cousin says " Yey now Christina is tooo busy at work, everytime I call her she never picks up her phone, I mean how busy can she be at work" and my boss says "Yea I am her boss"

After the first dance they were able to roam and dance with the guests, well my moms best friend is MICKEY CRAZY, her house is all Mickey so I saw her on the side of the dance floor watching Mickey dance with someone.. Mind you she helped me with all my wedding stuff and my bridal shower... So I grabbed her and said "Did you dance with Mickey?" and she said "no not yet"

I said "well come on you are going to dance with him" so I grabbed her hand and she said "No he is dancing with someone else" I said " I dont care this is my wedding and I tell Mickey who to dance with" LOL she started laughing so I grabbed MIckey and I said "Mickey dance with her she is your BIGGEST fan

Now I got upset and my sister got even more mad. If you look at the pics of me throwing the bouqet my cousin to the left was before wearing a cute red dress, the thing is she is major tom boy. She hates dresses and anything pink, so for the wedding it really took alot for her to wear the dress.. well she tells her dad (my uncle and moms younger brother) that she wasnt to change.. Well CRAP she wore a a bright blue "going to the park outfit"... I was so mad and my sister went to my other aunt and complained that this is a wedding and not a BBQ. So my aunt (moms younger sister) and told my uncle that Sofia needed to get bck in her dress since this is a wedding... My uncle got so mad that he took the kids and left "oh well":confused3

I had to have Randy crop her out of the pic, b/c you see all the girls in dresses and then you see her in a park outfit...

what can ya do???
