Christina, I was reading Brides magazine when I got the update and saw this picture. I showed my mom the pic and I told her verbatim "Now THAT is a BRIDE!!! :worship: " It's official, I want to be you when I get married. The dress and look. It's SO beautiful and dramatic! I know Geancarlo was stunned! Can't wait to hear the trippie (definitely wanna see those flowers from the reception!!)

I am so sorry that I have neglected you … I have been so busy getting things settled in the new house and trying to adjust living on our own.. Its crazy now I do the grocery shopping..lol.. but being with Geancarlo is fun.. now onto my trip..

Tuesday, September 30, 2008
I worked Monday and Tuesday the week of my wedding, preparing everything for my co-workers since I will be gone for 2 full weeks. The day dragged and I didn’t leave work until 6. I said my goodbye’s to everyone and left the office… WOOHOO 2 weeks without answering phones and hearing clients complain…. My mom called me to see where I was at and I told her that I just left the office and that I am going to the new house to drop off my car, that way while we are gone it looks as if someone is home..

I get to the new house at around 7pm. Well my mom and Alexis decide to go to the mall and do their things.. HELLO I have not packed yet and we leave in the morning… They picked me up at the new house at 8:15pm.. I lock the house up and we head out.

We all stopped at Chic-fil-A to grab food to go and take home.. my stomach was feeling a bit nervous, I couldn’t believe my wedding day was only 4 days away…

We get home and greet dad with little Dixie Mae, I set the table and we all eat and discuss our travel plans for the next day.. FUN FUN.. we love to talk about our Disney vacation… we were all excited that family was also meeting us that day..
Time to clean up and start packing..

I woke up at 9am and started preparing things.. Mom and dad left to get the van, poor Lex was stuck in school for an exam.. My parents get back with the van and Lex is throwing a hissy because she EXPECTED us to leave on time.. Well we NEVER EVER leave on time… so while my mom and Lex were packing the van and dad was getting ready, I ran to the mall to get some necessities that I forgot..

Kris and I never lived together either and it took us a while to get used to living in the same space all the time. After a little time you get in a routine, marriage is definitely a wonderful thing :cloud9: I miss my old bed too, I had used the same bed even when I lived on out my own!

Ok back to the TR

Well now we are on the road and we haven’t eaten yet so we stop at Mc. Donalds to get lunch, well I just LOVE their chicken mc Nuggets so of course that’s what I got… and Dixie is always sniffing the bag- so I took maybe 3 fries and put them in a napkin to let out some grease and I fed them to her…

The whole 3 hour trip I kept bothering Alexis.. she was sleeping on my mom and I decide to tickle her nose and mess her hair.. she got so mad at me she says “ you are so immature and your getting married, leave me alone”

All I could do was crack up hysterically…
During our drive we kept getting phone calls from family asking ‘where we were, what are you doing, when are you getting to GF?’

We finally made it to Kissimmee… WE head to Epcot to drop poor little Dixie at the kennel.. my mom doesn’t like going in b/c she starts to cry so my mom waits outside for us to finish… WE got Dixie a GREAT package, they walk her, cuddle time, play time and ice cream time… they are so good at the Epcot kennel and we TRUST them.. We got Dixie’s report card back and she did GREAT A++++

I didn’t know that when I dropped Dixie off that I wouldn’t see her for 2 full weeks after that.. After we finished dad and I went to guest relations to renew our DDE card, now its called Tables of Wonderland. While we were getting the card, one of the groomsmen came right behind me he was heading to Epcot with his girlfriend.. we said hello and talked for awhile and then we headed to the van and went straight to check into the GF…

We were so excited, I can’t even begin to tell you… we all have dreamed of staying at GF and it finally was here…
Dad drives into the gate and says Hello, we are checking in… Lex and I started to scream with joy”
Dad look at us and says in Spanish (translation) Girls, behave what are you in Hialeah” (inside joke)

We pull in and that’s when my mom Lex and I started to get all giddy… dad starts tickling me and I couldn’t contain myself..

My dad pulls the car into valet and immediately we had bell service assist us. Dad and Lex checked in and mom and I stayed behind.. We had 4 huge caddy’s

The guys all were so helpful and they all congratulated me on my wedding..
Mom and I went to meet Dad and Lex and I got teary eyed.. I just love it here

We waited for them to finish checking in..
Lex runs up to me and says PIXIE DUST, we got an upgrade to a suite… We were in the Boca Chica building…room 8314..

We started walking to our room
And we finally open the door and we were greeted with a Mickey towel

Mind you once we walked in that room, I looked to see Lex crying with such HAPPY tears, I was so overjoyed that I cried and my dad hugged us both and told us that to Enjoy every minute staying here…

Dad also enjoying the room… My highlight of going to Disney is seeing my parents have a good time… My dad is like a kid again and I just LOVE seeing him have a good time… He really truly enjoys being in Disney… BTW we took my parents to MNSSHP 2 years ago they dressed up as pirates and they even trick or treated.. they loved it…

So the car pulls up to valet and we all head in the van.. A van that is now empty.. I sit in the back with my mom and Lex is now co- pilot..
We drive over to the Yacht Club, and Lex and I walk into the hotel, dad for some reason was, I think trying to find something in the van I don’t know, but Lex and I couldn’t wait so we headed to the hotel.. We called our cousin Carrie (BM) in Jersey and was telling her to hurry up and get here…

After dinner, we were so stuffed, dad and I were exhausted and lex wanted to walk around.. Well we head back to the Grand and I showered and passed out in bed.. Dad and Mom went to be as well.. Alexis stayed up doing her own thing and at 1am.. the entire family was snugged in their beds while visioning of Disney parks and Mickey Mouse dancing in their heads

Day 2: October 2, 2008

So I wake up at around 7am hearing Alexis get ready to head over to the kennel to see Dixie Mae.. I had my meeting with Michelle at 9:30.. So I get up at around 8:30- the sheets were just so cozy, but I was so excited to see Michelle. We all get ready and Mom calls downstairs and asks for someone to come upstairs and help us with wedding items that we need to take over to the Wedding Pavilion.. We are all set to go and Bell hop came in and took everything in a matter of minutes… Here is mom and dad getting ready to hop in the golf cart..

We get to Franck’s and they served us coffee, mom had hot cocoa…
A lady stored and made notes of all my wedding items while I waited for Michelle to get off the phone.
We sat down in the right corner seating area talking with Jessie (Michelle’s assistant)
I asked Michelle if Jessie could come to the meeting because I had something for her…

Michelle finishes on the phone and meets us all and is so sweet..
We all discussed what the schedule is for the wedding and rehearsal.. Alexis showed up after walking Dixie and we told Michelle
That she wants to get married in Disney too. Michelle says to my dad “WOW 2 Disney weddings”

I gave Michelle and Jessie their gifts and Thanked them hundred times for their help, I also gave them each the chocolates that were favors and wine stopper.. they were so thankful.. I said “Please it’s the least I could do”


After the meeting, my mom wanted to walk to the WP to see is before rehearsal

After hanging around the WP we were all so hungry so we headed over to Gasparilla’s

But your video! You made a believer out of me. I never really put much stock into videography until I saw yours. It's completely goregeous! Hopefully Starfruit and Chapman will be in business when I get married.

Your video was stunning as were you and the rest of the wedding party! I spent the last two hours watching the video and going through each of your pictures. Your day looked amazing and beautiful. I especially loved the video and had three favorite pics: the close up of you bathed in the warm yellow sunset, the one of you and Geancarlo with the sun and the monorail behind you, and the one of the two of you in each others laps in front of the alter at the wedding pavilion...oh so romantic and sweet. Back to Day 2- Geez I am so bad at this... Being married and still moving into a new house takes alot of your time..

so back to my TR

We all walked over to Gasparilla's and had lunch.. so much fun.

Alexis and I had a cheeseburger and mom a salad.. I mean come on mom you are in DISNEY WORLD- eat a cow (sorry vegetarians)

So after Gasparilla's.. my cousins were telling me that they are about to board on magical express, I told them that we were going on the Speed racer boats

Dad LOVED the speed racer- him and my mom looked so cute in their boats

So after riding for about 30 minutes, my cousins called me and told me that they just arrived to GF
So Alexis and I were so excited we hurried up parked our boats and ran to our cousins who arrived from NY.. The 4 of us are pretty much close in age at the most 4 years apart. So we met with them at Gaspy’s because they got something to eat and then they showed us their room..

From that point on we had my brother and his wife and kids come – but us 4 girls were glued together. We all hung out by the GF pool and just relaxed, by 4:30pm it was time for MNSSHP…
