My floral BEO scared me too. For that matter, my ceremony BEO scared me! :scared1: However, I had Rose Dizon for my floral and she was so good at helping me cut it down where I really didn't need things for the total effect I was going for. She actually took the flowers and bows from our wedding ceremony and used them again on the tables and buffet line at our reception. They rearranged them a bit differently and added a few candles and glow cubes and they looked totally different. We also used the bridesmaids bouquets for extra decor on the head table. They just set them in vases filled with crystals at the bottom. If there's a will there's a way. You are definitely more creative than me, so I'm quite sure cutting down your floral budget won't hurt the end result of your ceremony one bit! :goodvibes

Just getting caught up....I am sure you will be able to cut down your beo and still have a beautiful wedding....:) On the topic of rude children, I for one, know exactly what you mean!!! I love kids too, don't get me wrong, but you are right, some parents just don't teach their kids manners anymore...I was at a TGI Fridays with my DF and this kid came over and put his whole hand in my drink!!!! :eek: It was so gross!! I couldn't even believe it!! The worst part was the parents didn't even apologize, they just kind of laughed and they didn't even offer to get me another drink!!!!:furious: Luckily I was only drinking iced tea which had free refills, not something alcoholic or I would have had to buy a whole new drink!!! So, I am right on the same page with you about the kid thing!! Just thought I would share....

I finally got my BEO in so excited... WAY TOO MUCH $$$
so I will be cutting down

Regarding my last post about my TR, some have taken offense to what I said about parents teaching their kids manners... I never meant to offend ANYONE

I know I dont have kids, but I love kids myself, I want 4 of my own...and want to try after I get married...

There are just SOME parents out there that let their kids do things w/o telling them that its wrong....

This reminds me when we were in Disney I was wating at the bus stop and this kid just walked past me and rubbed his hands on me as he passed lol...I was like ok...it didn't make me mad I was just like what was that all about..I think he thought I was his mom or something lol.

When I was little I did something similar. I was at church with my mom. There was another lady wearing the same skirt as her. I don't remember the story, but my mom said that I just followed the skirt, grabbed on and kept going. :goodvibes

Christina, I am so glad to see this update! I was wondering what happened the rest of the time!
Your sister is a trip! I love visiting different resorts and seeing all the different decor, but I've never seen Boardwalk's pool- it's awesome! Your sister is too cute on the slide, too!! Looks like something I would do!
Your floral BEO is something else, I almost fell over, too. There are definitely things you can cut out- is it mostly size of arrangements, amount of arrangements, type of flower or rental fees? You might check on buying a candelabra or something yourself and paying for the set up and flowers, or maybe make the arrangments slightly smaller? I really hope it works out! I am *sure* you will have a fabulous and elegant wedding, even with the cut-backs on floral. 12k of flowers is insane, it's probably the whole flower shop in my town, lol!!
I am so glad that new sushi place is good, Rob and I definitely want to try it! I had to lol about the past life thing, my dad, Rob and I are all really into Japanese culture, too! Our engagement party had a Japanese theme, even.
As far as kids, I worked summer camp for 3-4 year olds for 5 years, so I have *stories*. Heck, as a *high school* teacher, I have stories about what a few parents will do. My theory is that there are probably 10-20% of kids who are victims of really bad, neglectful parenting. Well, in school, recess, etc. these kids learn about it from this 10-20% and then do it to get attention when they see it gets attention. So it SPREADS. Ugh. I know a little boy whose dad used to watch x rated movies with him in the room. Can you imagine?! A definte case of BPS (Bad Parent Syndrome).

Ok quick question - what does beo stand for? Obviously that is the price your flowers are going to cost you but I don't know what the initials stand for. Second that is just for the flower?:faint: I'm sure you'll be able to cut something off, just go over what you had and say ok this is something I will regret not having.

CONT of DAY 2

So before we got seated at 8:45pm... I decided to go to the bathroom first and freshen myself up a bit... I get out and meet Geancarlo in the waiting area with these long booths... So we are sitting waiting for the buzzard to go off and this family with 3 kids and with another couple with their kids come near us to sit down... Well I see this little girl run towards me and jumps on top the seat next to me... I felt like I was on Tower of terror because I lift my seat about 2".... I look at Geancarlo with this face like HURRY BUZZARD PLEASE... well the parents dont even say anything... so then her brother about a year or two older than her... She must have been 5 or 6 the max... He decides to tickle her :rotfl2: well she is sitting on my left so he tickles her so bad that her WHOLE half of her body is on my lap... her long hair all over me... I made a groan and she looked at me like OOOps Im sorry... So I look at the Parents and to see if they saw.. YEA THEY SAW... but they didnt say anything...

8:45pm YEY the buzzard went off... WHEW.....

We sat near the sushi bar... no good view of the fireworks but being with my fiance makes up for it...

I was so thirsty for water that I downed 2 glasses before the appetizers came out....

We had shrimp and vegetable tempura
Sorry I was so hungry that I forgot to take a pic... So then Geancarlo says "OMG what are the Disgirls gonna think of you:eek: "

after Dinner we headed downstairs to the shops, I wanted to get a sushi set for the house.... I didnt find anything that I was in LOVE with... So I bought these beautiful bamboo mats for the patio dining table- AND they were on sale so they are even better...lol

I have been wanting these buddha boards for a LONG time... they are the blank canvas and you dip the paintbrush in water and you paint and it disappears after awhile... I love anything asian so I bought it.. I want it for my office... when I am stuck on a thought...lol:rotfl2:

I wasnt that crazy about the new ride... I miss the old traditional style one...

We leave Mexico and geancarlo HAD to go on Mission Space... Good Luck hun, I am scared of that ride.. I get sick easily and I am very claustrophobic.. 2 years ago I went on the mild ride with Geancarlo and his gradfather... I was crying and hi grandfather LOVED this ride...

So Geancarlo decided to go on by himself

So the boat now drops us off and all I wanted to do was snap my fingers and be in bed... We walked through boardwalk and to our car...

We finally get into the car and make our way to POP...
When we get to Pop... NO PARKING... we parked so far away from our room... AGHHHH thats all I wanted...

We walked to our room and I went straight to my parents bathroom to shower so Geancarlo can shower right away instead of waiting..

That is so funny Geancarlo makes fun of you and the Disboards because Bobby does too. I am always like "So I was on the Disboards and this one girl is doing this and this other one is doing that". All he says is "OH GOD NOT AGAIN! EVERYTIME YOU GO ON THAT BOARD YOU ARE CHANGING SOMETHING"! LOL. What a dork he is. Of course I refer to you as my twin and he knows exactly who I am talking about. Well, I'm getting married in October too! Very end of the October though. What a perfect month! lol

The roll with the orangy sauce is spicy mayo and it has chunks of lobster... I eat the raw on the other hand Geancarlo has to have it cooked... He is a steak and potato guy..

Its 9am and we all wake up and get ready to pack up our things and put them in the car... My parents and sister were leaving that day, but Geancarlo and I were staying one more night... It took us forever to get all bags packed and get them downstairs and walk over to the car...

Mom from PR and Dad from Cuba... well Geancarlo teases us PR's b/c everywhere he sees PR's someone has a flag or something on their car, so he says PR's are too proud... Well just to top that off... We pulled up to the gate and I see the girl was from PR...LOL...I had to get him... so I say "Hey she is Puerto Rican.... me too... go Boricua.." and the girl was laughing too...Well Geancarlo was laughing hysterically "he was like damn you pulled the PR flag fast"

They make me crack up and your just like my babies They are Puerto Rican / Cubans except I am the cuban one and Daddy is the PR we joke about the same things with the flags here I am from Miami lots of PR's here too... I love the hibiachi place, I'm having a mommy moment and can't remember the name of it. Anyway, we took the boys they were 5 and almost 3 at the time and the woman who was waiting on us rigged their chopsticks so they could eat with them. Very cute. I don't really even like fish so suishi would be a no for me but the hibiachi is a definate yes for the next time we go. I loved your pictures. I want to go to Ohana's for breakfast too.

Eric makes fun of me for being on here all the time he says "We've been married for 3 months!! WHY ARE YOU STILL ON WEDDING BOARDS??":rotfl2:

Tell your DH I have been married for almost 12 years and I look at the wedding threads.:lmao: He'll really think I'm nuts. My DH is not a Disney nut like I am so he seems it very funny that I read other people's TR and look at their pictures.

I have an uncle who's PR and as soon as you walk into his house the flag is the first thing you see framed on the wall. He has the key chains, bumper sticker. I have another uncle who's colombian and every year for christmas decorates his house with the colomian flag colors and on his fence he will make one out of lights. It is so embarrasing!!!! Especially since he lives on a busy street (SW 56th St. ) everyone sees it.

Anyway I just love reading your PJ / TR it's like a mini vacation in my head!!!!! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

Everything looks good so far!! Your family is so cute together and you look like you have such a good time together!! :) I am really enjoying your updates...I didn't know that they redid the spaceship earth ride...can't wait to hear how it is!!! Just a question...when you drive to different hotels to park, do you have to pay for parking if you are staying in a disney hotel?? I haven't actually had a car the last few times we were at disney. I am thinking that is a better way to get around then having to wait for the buses...

Oh and the pineapple bread....two of my favorite foods ---bread and pineapple. I so am like your sister when I waiting for a character, any character. I think sometimes I get more excited than my kids. :rotfl: I showed DD2 the Cinderella coach and she screamed when I told her that Cinderella rides in that. She loves "Lala". Great update. When I was down in WDW the end of May and did my hair and makeup trial both Ana and Lily came - Ana did my hair and Lily my makeup. Ana also took alot of pictures. She said both came just incase she was not available on the wedding date Lily would definately be there so both knew what to do with my hair and makeup.

I love the deep color of the invitations. The design is so beautiful! I like how you included adults only on the actual invitations. We did the rule of only listing the adults names on the inner envelope and tried to spread the news by word of mouth, but we still had some people who didn't get it until I was very blunt with them about no children allowed (except at our dessert party).

My cousin got married in March and the only kids were the flower girl and ring bearer. It was really a large wedding so there were no guests unless you were married (or engaged I guess, but no one in our family is currently engaged).

I am ashamed to say that I have been a lurker on these boards for several months. I am already married, but sometimes jump down to look at the wedding forum after I'm done reading the theme park attraction section. I love reading about all of your wonderful weddings :love: .

Anyways, I signed up so I could post and let you know that I think that "prescence" is misspelled on the invitation. I thought it was "presence," so I looked it up on dictionary.com and sure enough nothing comes up under "prescence." I couldn't not say something so I hope you don't mind me butting in! Your invitations are absolutely beautiful though ::yes::

We finally make it back to Epcot.. I was calling my aunt and she told us that she wwas near Soarin... So as we are walking past the COOL STATION

I see this girl with minnie wedding ears and I couldnt believe my eyes.. it was LYNN:cool1: :cool1:

So I made sure... and yep it was her and Tim.. so I said
"Excuse me but are you a DisBride"

She turns around and goes "CHRISTINA"
we ran and hugged each other... So we introduced the guys to each other and we left them..lol.. we were so busy chatting away... It felt like we knew each other for years... SO she was telling me about her wedding and all the fun details...Her and Tim are such lovely people...

so after we leave Spaceship Earth, my cousins didnt want us to leave, they still wanted to hang out with us

The park is about to close, so I told my aunt and uncle, why dont we head over to Downtown Disney and hang out... We will get the kids dinner..they all voted for McDonalds...

So we head over... Geancarlo takes my cousin Steven and Scotty while I head with my aunt, uncle, and the girls to their car... my uncle told me to drive since I know the Disney area like the back of my hand...my cousins kept saying 'We miss Geancarlo, he should have came with us.' THANKS GIRLS...lol... At this point my stomach was bothering me. We get to Downtown Disney and once Geancarlo met with us.. I told him that I am not feeling well... for some reason my stomach felt sour.. bleh... so we did some shopping, took then to MC'D's and my aunt and uncle said to us 'Come back to our unit, we can open a bottle of wine and sit out by the pool'

Anyother moment I would have, but all I wanted to do was head back to our hotel room, shower and just pass out...

You know they arent in my wedding, I have to many older cousins and Geancarlo's friends in the wedding... when you stay at a Disney resort, you dont pay for parking...We just parked at Boardwalk to go through the back of Epcot...

It's so funny, every time we go someplace my niece and nephew (we call them the babies even though they are 13 and 11) LOOOOOVEEE to hang out with the big kids

(Val, Dan and her sister Tori will be the big kids for-ev-er even after they have kids of their own)

Us oldies are just chopped liver and might as well not exist! ;)

I remember loving to hang out with my older cousins... so now I know how they feel...lol

Here's how I'm coping with our numbers. My dad gave us a budget. I tried to stick to it and did a lot of things on my own (hired my own band, made our own invitations, seating cards, programs, having friends do my videography -they're pro's so no worries) but mom keeps adding more people. I swear she's invited everyone she knows. But, I figure, I've done my best. If I'm over budget (which I am) I just blame it on my mom :)

Honestly, I was freaked out about it for such a long time and now I'm just done worrying. If they come, they come. I don't know half these people but oh well! You will get to a point where you'll just stop worrying about it. I stuck to my number of invites. If my parents want more people.... oh well, it's their budget!

And the best part (which is kinda selfish), but they all give you presents! I already started getting stuff on my registry and it's all from my parents' friends that I don't know :banana: :banana: :banana:

My bridal shower is July 19 at the Country Club near my house, The colors are lime green,hot pink, white, and silver

I found the prefect invites at Target but then I photoshoped images into one image. I wanted a bride with an umbrella and rain drops-hence Bridal Shower...lol

I love the shower invites! My BM's made mine too and they came out awesome! They even put in some kind of limerick or poem that said that something along the lines of "every home should have some of these so help the bride and groom start off on the right foot" so there was a huge basket and everyone had to bring like tongs, spachulas, pot holders etc. It was awesome. You should also look into have the guests bring there favorate recipe and your BM's can make you a cook book.

Oh my goodness, those invitations have to rank amongst the most beautiful invitations I have ever seen. You continue to amaze me with your choices. :worship: I am so not worthy that it hurts LOL!!! I want to see your wedding so bad that I am trying to talk my husband into visiting the world again in October for our 1 year anniversary...it's not working though because we will be there for a week in September already. :worried: I'm going to keep trying though. My DF wants a kitchenaid mixer so bad! I keep having to remind him it's like $300!!! I rank everything according to the wedding and I've told him a few times that costs more than his ring will! Have fun baking! Be sure to show us some pics you make. Just call them wedding something or other when you post it! Cupcakes are my fav!

Ok, here's how i got my kitchenaid, i have the Professional 600, which is like $500-600 in the stores. I went to Linen-n-things on like JUST the right day, they were doing clearance of their display models. It was marked down to $199!! And i was still able to us my 20% off coupon too!! So i have this huge black PRO600 on my counter for $179!! IT ROCKS!!! I can whip up a double batch of icing in no time now, its so great! And it really works wonders on cookie dough! Oh crap, did i go off topic?
