Is there a place to find out about discounts for other cruises??

Hi everyone!

This is my first time posting here on the Cruise boards and I hope my question is allowed. If not, then remove it and I'll understand!

Anyway, DH wants to go on a cruise, not a Disney cruise. We're thinking of taking Royal Caribbean from NYC to Bermuda. Is there any place like the DIS boards where I can find out good info about cruises? I have learned a TON of great, valuable info here on the DIS boards about planning a Disney trip and now I'm wondering if any message boards exist for cruises. I hate the thought of trusting just any travel agent, like I did last year with my first Disney vacation. Is it better to book the cruise myself? Are there "discount codes" out there for cruises like there are for the Disney resorts??

Someday we will take DSs on the Disney cruise, but this first cruise would be for just DH and I.

They usually allow these questions. They're not too insecure because we all know disboards rock! But if you want to read message boards about other cruise lines, the place to go is www.cruisecritic.com.

I'll second Dave and recommend Cruise Critic too!
DIS is a great resource and allows information about other message boards, websites, etc. (unlike Cruise Critic, which removes any links back here). But CC is your best bet for cruise line info. on lines other than Disney. We've done a few RCCL cruises (4 vs. 18 on Disney) and I've got all my info. from there.
