I posted this on another board, but did not get any responses. I believe these sandals originated in the UK so I wanted to check here.
I'm considering purchasing a pair of these sandals, but want to know if they live up to their hype. Does anyone own these or know someone who does? Supposedly they give your legs a work out when you wear them. I know, it sounds like a gimmick, but I've read reviews that justify this. Just wanted to check here, because where else would I get an honest answer?:goodvibes

Oh dear - I saw a trailer today that they were going to be on the news but I didn't see the actual item! I'll see if I can find any reference to it...

I don't have these but do have the MBTs referred to in the article. I love 'em - so comfy and great for the amount of walking I do. Would be interested to try the Fit Flops...

I had heard of these but I was sceptical, I would be interested in hearing from anyone who tries them out though. also I can't wear toe bars so I don't think they'd work for me

My DBF's mum has the MBT's and says they're good, she has been trying to get a pair of the Fit Flops for a while I think.

do you know how long she's been wearing them Kath and has it made any difference to her body toning?

Doesn't walking do that anyway?

She has been wearing them for a few weeks, and has said she can really feel a difference in her legs.

I know you can find them on Ebay. I actually have 4 pairs to sell and was thinking about keeping one, but I wanted to know if they are worth it first. Through the Bath & Body Works website some are available in select stores, but I don't know if they ship to the UK. From what I understand, all the stores in the UK are sold out and wait listing their customers.

Minniespal, anyone who is fit and active like you (all the running you do etc) is ulikely to nottice a difference - you must have incredibly toned legs anyway.
