Never heard of this. Is this a fake or is this real?

I have never heard of unlimited fast pass at Universal. Read the whole thing. He is saying something about certain dates are sold out. I dont get it.

Strange indeed. Did you check out the seller's history? It's all EPs from USO and a one-day pass for WDW. Really good feedback, too!
If the seller won't ship it, will only meet the buyer at the gate, I'd think it's an employee, no? Especially considering all these dates in advance. Looks like someone's work schedule as the "available dates."
ETA: The seller's got three different auctions going for these passes, too.

I've never heard of them either. Must be something not available to the general public.

It is the real deal. Unfortunately, with a feedback of only "5" and the idea of meeting you at the entrance is a red flag. In the event that the seller falls ill or is involved in vehicle accident on his/her way to meet you leaves little to be desired. Furthermore, any tickets or passes validity dates should be taken with a tiny grain of salt.

If you look at the older auctions there is a photo which includes about half the back of a pass. It says "UNIVERSAL EXPRESS GAP ENTRY" just under that it has DIAZ in big letters on the left. Nothing else really stands out. I don't have any old tickets or express passes to compare to so I am not sure what to look for.

That's a Guest Assistance Pass for those who need special accommodations. That's just NOT right!:sad2:

I asked the seller what the tickets were and he says they are the tickets that you get when you receive poor customer service. Anyone know anthing about these??

Ask Phamton.
from epinions.com reference GAP pass
=================
There's also a version of the pass called the Express Gap pass that allows disabled visitors unlimited use of the express lines throughout the day. The pass is only available at the customer service station just inside the park entrance and be aware that not all of the staff there are aware of its existence so if you need an Express Gap pass, you may need to ask for a supervisor or otherwise press the staff to get what you need.
=================
definetly something fishy here.
They seem to be for disabled persons and not the general public but correct me if I am wrong. Very odd that you have to purchase them from him/her at the gate.

the reason they meet you at the gates is because they have to go into guest services to get the GAP's and then pass them off to you. the GAP's they give for a poor experience are paper, good for one attraction only, and collected at the EP entrance.
if UO can catch this person, they can pull their AP for doing this.

There is, or at least was in 2005, another pass that they can issue for the length of your stay if there is some sort of problem they feel they need to in some way compensate you for.
I had bought our AP's with the flex pay program and when we went that summer they had just switched to some new system and could not process our temp cards. They asked how long we were going to be there, gave us comped park tickets for that amount of time & a special paper Express Pass that stated how many it was good for & what day it expired.
I told her at that time that I did not know when we were going to be able to return and she said it was no problem. She signed our temp tickets and told us to return to guest services the next time we visited and they would then activate our AP's. These are the tickets we will be using this summer.
So, any way, there at least used to be some sort of EP they could print out to compensate guests for being put out. Not that we were really put out, we got to go to the park for free. Of course we didn't need the EP because we were staying onsite but it was a nice gesture.

the quantity available on the auctions and the circumstances point right to selling GAP's.

The GAP is dated and only good for the day it is issued. It sounds like they plan on meeting at Guest Services so this person can get their GAP reissued and giving it to the person they are selling it to.

Oh I didn't doubt that was what it was I was only saying that there was at one time a pass they could print out that gave unlimited FOTL as a way of basically apologizing for any inconvienience they may have caused.

Can you post the link to the auction that shows the words GAP and Diaz? I can't seem to find that.

Yikes! I hope this person gets in big trouble for this as it appears it is a GAP pass! This has got to be a crime! Plus someone paid $81 for it?!?!

They paid $81 for 4 of those tickets. That auction had 4 tickets. $81 is VERY cheap for 4 of those tickets.

As the parent of a child with a disability, it makes me sick to my stomach that somebody would try to profit off their child's or relative's disability.
Although we have never used a GAP - (FOTL makes it unnecessary for our situation), I cannot believe somebody would abuse the privilege and perhaps make it harder to get for those that really need it.
I did notice that the picture that Fan2CSkr has the serial number, the transaction number and the date visible. Hopefully that will help nail this sick person.
How do we contact Ebay to have them pull the auctions?

Yesterday the seller had live auctions selling these passes. Today it looks like they have been removed. I did report it to ebay yesterday.

I also wrote guest services at Universal yesterday - I hope that they somehow catch this person at their sick game and bar him/her from the park forever.

I missed the 4 tickets. You are right, that is a very good deal. Curious, how does one person with a disability get 4 passes for the day? Are the extended to the group as well?

Fan2CSKr already beat me to it but I hope you or someone else at Universal can get to the bottom of this. I hate to see people abuse a disability like this. I doubt we will ever know who did this or what was done but I hope a few people abusing a program does not ruin it for others.

I'm sure if someone is doing things they shouldn't Universal will get to the bottom of it. Especially if it is an unscrupulous employee. If it's a guest it might be a little bit harder.

Oh my goodness. I actually emailed her a few days ago, asking about these passes and this is what she told me. She also told me they were $25 a piece
I can't do buy it nows as of yet. I need 5 more feedbacks. However I can invoice you thru paypal. I do that more than anything. This ebay auction is just used to get people interested. I have like 300 passes (limit of 6 per day). I still have 2 passes left for the 22nd and 4 for the 23rd. I am not kidding when I tell you how fast these go. I have people buying out of the auction daily. My only requirement is that you pay half by paypal and the other half at the gate. I meet you there the morning you use them and We exchange cell#'s for last minute details.
I am so glad I didnt bid on them, something told me it didnt sound right and a parent of a disabled child., it makes me really angry if she is using them in that manner.

Wow, how in the world did somebody get 300 of these?
Would timeshares have any of these to give as promotional items?

At our local amusement park.....Guest with disabilities can legally cut in line...along with 6 other members of their party.
My guess is that Universal offers something similar and this person was going to the park and getting their passes for his/her newly bought friends/family. :sad2:

I would like to take the time to clear up a few things here. This thread was sent to me by one of my buyers who could not believe the lengths people go to and the false accusations people make based on what one person says. Just to clear up my name today I happened to meet up with the lovely Universal Under cover investigators who THOUGHT I was buying these passes illegally or going in there saying I was disabled and that is not the case. I got these from Guest Services On May 17 2007 for the entirety of 3 months. One of there Reps in Guest Services by the name of *** who is no longer with them, threw something at me. They issued me these passes. When I told the investigators this, they also did not believe it. In fact I have a letter from UNIVERSAL STUDIOS stating this plus free annual passes. They took me to a room and said if your story pans out you walk and will be issued a trespass. GUESS what!! Here I am telling my story I do not work for Universal Just a regular mom with a family selling passes at a discounted rate. I was selling them everyday for about a month. How this all came about was a dear guy on EBAY who called complianing because he asked for me to provide him with personal emails of people and I refused the information. So he went and complained they found me and here I am at home not in any trouble. YOU KNOW WHY? because I was not lying. I do not have to pay anyone back that I have sold to nor UNIVERSAL. My family still has there ANNUAL PASSES as well. SO for those of you who jump the gun think 2x before accusing people. My buyers are the ones who led me to this forum by the way.

From what I have heard, GAPs are not for sale nor or they transferable. You sold them.
That's all I am saying on this as it is up to Universal to handle any misuse of tickets or passes. If you did nothing wrong, then I am sure they will discover this.
