I don't know about the Dolphin, but yes there are safes on the ship in the cabins.

Is there a cost to activate the safe in the room on the ships?

No, they work automatically with your Key to the World key card. Just remember that the card that locks the safe, must also be the one used to unlock it.

No cost to use safe in cabin on the ship. You use KTTW (or any card with magnetic strip) to lock and unlock it. NOTE THIS: The same card that locks the safe must be used to unlock it. Otherwise you're locked out of your safe without help from Guest Services.

Yes , remember which key you use. On our June cruise I used my KTTW as I just knew I could keep up with mine and Guess what....I lost mine the 2nd day. Left it in the folder where we paid for drinks one night. Had to have Guest Services come and reprogram the safe even with my new key it had to be reprogramed but they were very nice about it and said it happened all the time!! Made me feel better.:bounce:

Thanks all!! I shall remember to tell DW to make sure we use the right card. She's the banker in the family so I'll let her use her card.
