Has anyone used a car service or shuttle to get to Vero Beach from Orlando Int'l Airport? About how much should I expect to pay?

I would call the limo services to see which ones are available for this trip. It is roughly 90 miles and you will most likely have to cover their return costs as well (since they'll be empty). My guessestimate would be about $150+, but things might be cheaper in Orlando. If you drive, it is really a good idea to have a rental car in Vero Beach if you plan to explore the area. A car rental will probably be cheaper than the roundtrip car fare.

I did a quick search on Google and it looks like many limo services would take you to Vero. To give you an idea of cost Happy Limo (I know nothing about them) charges $185 one-way for a sedan from Orlando Int'l to Vero. A limo was around $260.

Here's their link

I rented a Lincoln Towncar last June for $190 for the whole week.
You'll want transportation while in Vero. Consider it.

Is there an easier airport to fly into and out of for VB? Other than MCO I mean. We just figured if we were going to spend the end of vacation there then it would be nice to fly out of somewhere close to there than drive all the way back to Orlando.

Well, there is one lucky DVC'er who posts here that is able to use the Vero Airport....you do have to fly your own plane. ;)

The closest regular airport is Melbourne, FL but flights are sometimes more difficult to arrange from there. West Palm is another option but it's only maybe a 10 minute difference than driving back to Orlando -- the ride is a little less desolate.

I think I will leave the flying to the experts!:D I will stick with MCO. Thanks Pam!
