Drive time, DL to LAX?

How much time should we allow to go from DL to LAX on a Sunday for a 3 p.m. flight?

Any suggestions for the best route?

Assuming you have 2 or more people in the car. I would take:
105 E
605 S
91 E (get in the carpool lane ASAP)
5 S (91 E carpool lane transitions right into the 5 S carpool lane, no need to get out)
Exit Disneyland Dr using carpool lane (There is a left lane carpool exit, no need to get out carpool lane)
Follow signs to Theme parks/Hotels

Do not follow online maps as they will not give you carpool lane options. Taking this route is much easier because once you get in the 91 carpool lane, you never have to get out of a carpool lane.

Assuming no big accidents on the freeways, I'd say this route take 30-40 minutes.

oops, I thought you meant LAX to DL...
you can reverse those directions, i dont know if the 5 N to 91 W interchange has a carpool transition lane.

When I was there last year, the SuperShuttle guy did it in 20 minutes. :scared1:

I would say 45 minutes is good.
