I'm new at the SR program - this may be a big repeat.
There is a $10 offer for an order at Photostamps. On the lower left corner there is an offer for 20 free .02 stamps. The s/h is free - no cost at all. Anyway, it's a free and easy $10.

OK, where is this 2 cent stamp offer? I went to SR, clicked on the photostamps offer, even registered...I don't see any 2 cent stamps offered! Let alone free ones.
Hellllp. :)
Then again, they might have just zapped it away...:confused3

I didn't do the free $0.02 offer, but I did do the photostamp offer & have yet to receive my $10 credit.. :sad1:
I did, however, get my phtotostamps in the mail yesterday :)

I was just reading the photostamps and stamps messages on SR, and saw you post that you hadn't received it. :( I hope you do!
Do you see the 2 cent deal the OP mentioned? I don't even SEE it!

The offer is on the homepage at the bottom left on my screen. I just checked: http://photo.stamps.com and it's still there. (I went thru the link at the SR site.) It reads "Get FREE $.02 Postage!"; it's a limited time offer.
And, I got the $10 credit the same day that I ordered (took a couple hours).

Thanks! Me too! $10 would put me over for SM & I wouldn't need to worry for the next 19 days!! ;) But I've done all I can do & just hoping that it credits!! Here's some pixie dust for myself....:wizard: :wizard:

You know the more I think about it...if you guys are getting credit for not spending money on their site & I did ($21.98 for 20 stamps to be exact), I'm going to be really ticked...not at you of course :grouphug: ...but at Photostamps.com! I spent money! I deserve my $10!!!! :sad2:

well, I haven't gotten the $10 credit, and I did the offer (free 2 cent stamps) about 3 hours ago.
Even if I don't get the credit though, I can use the stamps. I wouldn't feel right putting in a trouble ticket for that.

 There's just nothing in my left lower screen. :(
Wait, maybe it's a Safari thing...hmm. Off to go see if I can get IE to work on my new Mac....(we've had problems getting it to work).

It's a Mac thing. Or a MY Mac thing. Doesn't appear no matter what the browser I use. Had DH check with his PC that he's on for work (from home), and it was right there. WEIRD.

Hey, thanks for the heads up on this. I ordered my free stamps today and the $10 credited almost immediately! Now I'm only $8 away from next quarter's super member, yay!

holy cow that was fast! lol Thanks so much OP! It took forever for the pages to load for me, but as another poster stated, the credit was almost instant! :)

oh, that's unfortunate... that it credited instantly for some people. I got nothing.
*sigh* $13 away from super member.

I'm less than $6 away, but yet this dang thing won't credit for me either!

Why do they need a credit card if the charge is $0?

The advertiser pulled the offer after the two cent stamp thing started. :(

Maybe the advertiser had a Mac like me, and couldn't see that free 2 cent offer... (all I ever saw on the Mac was the Smithsonian contest thing in the place where the 2cent stamps were on the Windows-based computer)
Bummed that I didn't get credit with you (for the other stamps offer as well), but I assume I'll be getting stamps, and I'd been wanting to try photostamps anyway, so the 2 cent goodwill might bring me back to them (in some ways I'm the perfect pre-customer for that 2 cent offer, b/c it fosters such warm fuzzies)! As long as I remember that it wasn't photostamps themselves that pulled the offer, but the silly likely-Mac-using-no-due-diligence-in-making-sure-there-are-no-loopholes advertiser.

Not a shock.
I'll still be happy to get 2 cent stamps. :)

I might just be asking the same people the same question that I asked on SR, but for those of you who did the 2 cent thing, did you have the opportunity to put a picture on it? I was never presented with that option, so I have a sheet of enormous advertisements for photostamps, and now I'm not feelin' the warm fuzzies for them like I was before. Every envelope I mail using one of these will be an advertisement for them, possibly a bigger ad than if I'd put a picture on it, and I think that alone would be worth the credits (which I didn't get). Harumph.
And once I got them I thought "why did I order these? I have no old stamps to add onto." :upsidedow

Mine are advertisements, too. I ordered them because they were free. I have some old stamps still - I can use them. I also got $10 in my SR account - which is the real reason I ordered them!
Even if you don't have old stamps, save them. You can buy about any denomination of stamps at the post office. I've mailed letters with several stamps on them to make the full amount needed for postage.

Poopy, I can't find any 2 cent stamps, and I was doing it just to get the stamps (credit would have been nice though).
