what are the cheapest days to fly on?

Typically it is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Saturday. Unfortunately, given the economic climate, I'm not finding that's always the case now. We got our best rate flying on Friday from a small airport rather than Detroit. Sometimes you just need to play with your dates when searching for a flight to see which deal is best. Don't forget, sometimes those smaller airports have better rates.
