I have a total of around 300 photos from this week and last here: http://www.mousesteps.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=39&Itemid=66

Here are some pics that I like:

I almost deleted this one off my camera, but decided against it at the last minute):

It's been a lot of fun. :)

I'll miss next weekend - I'll be out of town, but plan to spend a day or two there the last weekend (hopefully actually getting Anthony Daniels autograph!)

THANK YOU for the photos!

I was all set to go this weekend, but some things came up and I couldn't afford it, had to cancel. At least I got to partly "be there" through all your photos!

Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed them. :) I had SO much fun yesterday, especially hanging around the "dark side" of MGM, and Ray Park is adorable.

That said - Master Graceys note kicked Darth Mickey to bits on my site this week! Everyone wanted to see the letter, the SWW pics aren't as popular (though really fun to take, I am not even the hugest SW fan).

Kenny Bakers wife was very nice as well, we haven't actually gotten there early enough to meet the celebrities themselves.

Hey, looking for some info about the Star Wars weekends. My family will be going to our 1st ever trip to this weekend and actually to MGM. I have been reading all of your comments about the Star Wars weekends and enjoy the pictures alot. Yet I think I have found out that arriving to MGM early is important for autographs seekers and rare limited star wars items that are on sale. I was wondering since my family and I are not really into those two objectives if that we should avoid the crowds in the mornings and arrive to MGM in the afternoon on Friday and Saturday. I guess we would be missing the parade which we would like to see but is it worth it? It will be my wife, myself and our twin DD4's.

If any of you Star Wars weekend veterans can lend me some of your advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks alot for the info I have learned from you all so far and keep up the good work.:yay:

Hi Buff!

If you look in my other thread (where you'd also posted), I gave you some answers on what we would have done had we gone today too. It should help - I think 10am is a good starting point. :)

If you are not all that into the Star Wars stuff, you might want to go early anyway b/c all the other attractions will have shorter than normal waits.

Thank you Scott! And I'm not even a huge SW fan (I do enjoy the original and a couple of the other films), but I find the event a lot of fun.

WOW!!

Would have thought you were a big fan. I am of the original trilogy and of ep III the first 2 episodes were terrible.

I am definitely thinking of next year so thank you.

No - I'm a fan of Disney, walking, and photography. But I did like the 1st (I was 10 when that came out), 2nd and 6th films (not Episodes 1 or 2 - but some of the actors were very good). I am a fan of Anthony Daniels and now Ray Park - very talented. I didn't know who many of the characters I was photographing were, but they were still very entertaining to watch.

You should definitely go. I plan to have a couple of hundred more photos after the 4th weekend (I won't be here this coming weekend, my husband may take some pics - not sure). I'd have liked to have been here for Peter Mahew.
