I'm looking to buy a new digital camera. I have it narrowed down to two. The Kodak Easyshare V1003 Zoom and the Casio Exilim EX-S770. Both have larger LCD's which I need. I thought the Casio was a bit brighter and clearer. The Kodak on the other hand has easy to read function buttons (I can see them without my glasses). Other then that I'm at a loss. I'm a total digital illiterate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at this comparison (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=kodak_v1003%2Ccasio_exz770&show=all). The two seem fairly well matched, but the Kodak has a larger sensor, which *should* mean better low-light performance, if that is important to you.

I suggest you read a couple of online reviews (tip: use google), and pay particular attention to the review's sample images.

YEKCIM Thanks so much for the link to the camera comparisons. A bonus was the price lists for different merchants. I thought I was getting a good price but I see I can get the Casio for about $30 less! Thanks for your help. :thumbsup2 I'm off to google! :surfweb:

Just be careful check resellerratings.com before you purchase from anyone, there are some big time scam artists out there.
