When you walk to the parks along the river, there's fish in there. I'm thinking about taking a fishing pole, but I'm not for sure if it's alright or not. Don't want to get in trouble on Vacation you know.

well then, how about a string with a worm on the end of it???

you can hide that in your pocket easier than a fishing pole...:)

Just out of curiosity, what exactly are you planning on doing with the caught fish? :confused3

I wouldn't risk it ... I hear the Orlando Mob has a monopoly on fishing in the river. Don't want to end up swimming with those fishies you had planned to catch! :goodvibes

I saw that big "fish" last year, but it was dead. Actually if i remember correctly there were a lot of dead fish last year, and they were pretty good size too. I wonder what killed them?

If you are going to fish in the river, make sure you wear your heelies. You need those wheels to keep up with those big fish once they grab that worm.

Rent a double wide stroller and take it out of the parks - you can put the caught fish in there. The stroller also serves to move people away from the railing at the river if they are standing in a prime fishing area. A good blow to the back of the knees will move them everytime.

Make sure you pack your Foreman grill so you can have a fish fry when you get back to the room. As there are few balconies in Universal, you will have to disable the smoke alarm in the bathroom. If the grill is too cumbersome to pack, I also read on a thread sometime ago on the CB about a method of just bringing some sort of rack and putting charcoal directly in the bathtub to barbecue. The person who did this was at Disney, but it should work at Universal as well.

Other requirements for fishing at Universal: be drinking beer out of 6 year old Disney refillable mugs, smoke, have at least 122 visible tattoos and dress like a thug.
