This turns out to be a great deal if I am understanding correctly. I priced out a package Tucson to LAX for 3 nights in Sept. including 3 day hoppers using the special link above and it comes to:

2 adults, 2 children ages 9 and 7

Carousel Inn $1213
Disneyland Hotel $1693

This includes airfare, hoppers and hotel.

I had priced just hotel and hoppers (thru Disney Travel) because we were planning on driving and got:

$1654 DLH 4 nights + hoppers.

We don't need to stay a 4th night if we are flying because we'll be there in an hour and a half! So for $39 more we can fly. Gas was going to be about $175 total so are actually saving money by flying!!

Can someone check this for me because I somehow can't believe it. I'm not sure if I am missing something here or if it really is that great of a deal! Dates are Sept 19th- Sept 22nd.

Thanks,
Kelly

Just remember you still need to get to and from the hotel. That is not included. You also have to figure the time you would save flying vs. driving.

The shuttles are inexpensive/free.

I meant she had to still to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotels. That will run between $25 and $35 a person for a RT ticket.

Oh, I thought if you stayed at a Disney resort they had a free shuttle to and from the airport. If they don't then that adds a considerable amount for four people.

Anyone know about a free shuttle?

As far as I know, there is no such thing. . .

As far as time goes, it takes 7-8 hours driving time to get there. Flying would be an hour and a half plus one more hour for getting to the airport early. Not bad, 2.5 hours versus 7-8 in the car.

Tucson airport is very easy to get to, easy to check in etc. Smallish, so it doesn't take a ton of time to get thru security unlike big airports. One hour before take off is usually sufficient.

Thanks for all the advice.
