Nemo soft opening... WOOOHOOO!!!

Well,
I walked into DL right at opening and walked straight to Space Mtn but it was broken. So I was bummed. Decided to walk over to Matterhorn and heard someone said "soft opening"... so turned around and walked REAL fast over to Nemo. Asked the CM and sure enough he said "Come on in!"... I was bowled over!!!! :rotfl:
On the phone with my DBF practically jumping up and down for joy!!! LOL!!
It doesn't take much to amuse me...
This was the one thing I wanted to see since I most probably aren't going to visit DL for another couple of years... So I am ecstatic!!!!

The ride was great!
The beginning and ending were kinda cheesy but the Nemo part of it was very good. I would've gotten back online except that by the time I got out the line was pretty darn long... hehehe...
I was lucky to find out early in the morning when the line was short.
It was great!

I was walking on air the whole morning all the way to L&S bfast (that's another great story for a later post... :love: )... :cloud9:

Anyways,
Just want to share my wonderful day so far.

Now I'm resting to go back for fireworks later on! :banana:

Other websites are reporting that Nemo is running a soft opening today and planning to continue over the weekend. :thumbsup2

They are saying it is scheduled to soft open tomorrow morning before the scheduled media events. Of course, the ride is not officially open, so it may go down at anytime for any reason (where's that official DL disclaimer when you need it?)

You're looking at a few hours in the AM though as Disney Employees/CMs have a preview tomorrow as well that go well into the evening. Not sure what time that starts though. I'm sure though if the lines aren't that long they'll be passing out preview cards to various people.

Sunday and the first 3 hours of operation on Monday are all for media.

That's a bummer since we are going tomorrow-just in case. Maybe we'll get lucky-we didn't win the AP preview :confused3 .
