Newbe needs comments

First, I have never done a forum for anything but I felt the need to thank everyone on these boards. Your shared knowledge has been invaluable. I am planning a vacation for 2 families:4 "adults", 2 age 21, 1 age 20, 1 age 18, and 1 age 17 for the middle of August. I was able to get platimum status because of my husbands other hotel affiliations (I would not have known anything about this without you).

I have booked a two-bedroom portofino suite at PBH for $2,200 and some change for 4 nights over a weekend. I did this because the HRH could not accomodate us for anything close to this price and because I thought the PBR was closer to HRH pool than the 3 room option at RPR, which was a couple of hundred more. I also bought the combination park and Blue Man tickets which saved me $150.00 which I learned about on your boards.

What do you think about my hotel choice? Thanks again! You guys rock!:cool1:

I think you made a great choice, especially since you'll have the shared palor between the rooms, and that will be a great gathering place. Don't rule out the Portofino's beach pool. It's actually very nice, and you may find that you'll want to spend a day there instead of the HRH pool. Have a great trip! :goodvibes

I agree the pool area at PBH is overlooked yet its pretty good as is the thirsty fish bar, great choice:thumbsup2

I plan on enjoying the PBH pool, it looks fab! I do know that the hard-bodied, beautiful people in our group (our children) will want to add to the scene at the HRH.

If anyone has a recommendation on a room location, I would love to hear it. Also, I am considering purchasing club level if available when we arrive. What do you think? We have alot of big boys!
