I had this at a friend's barbeque last summer. It was soooo good.

Just take some ripe bananas and cut them length wise -- but do not cut through both sides of the skin. Cut through the skin on one side and then the banana, but leave the bottom skin intact.

Open the banana slightly and put some brown sugar inside. Put bananas, cut side up, on the grill and cook until the peel gets brown and the sugar melts.

Remove from grill, allow to cool slightly and eat. Adults can add a favorite liquor to the cooked bananas. Ice cream works well as a topping too.

I've done this, but a little differently. When you cut open the banana, I cut a slit in the banana flesh and stuff mini chocolate chips, marshmallows and graham pieces inside. Then I close the peel around the banana and grill until gooey and melty!
