No Car, Staying In Anaheim and we wanna see a beach...HELP!

So we are staying in Anaheim for 6 days and the 6th day was supposed to be to see a friend, now we are stuck with no idea what to do. And its going to be my 31st birthday! We would really like to go to the beach where there is a little something to o but mostly relaxing but i don't want to bother with the rental car if we can help it... any suggestions???? Thanks sooo much!

Hi, we went in October, and we took a bus down to Huntington Beach. It's the closest beach (at least that's what I was told) and I think it's absolutely beautiful...I think you can check the OCTA's website to see the route (you will have to switch buses one time [depending on where you're staying/getting on the bus])...

I'm in the same boat. I really want to spend a day at Huntington Beach, but I'm not sure I want the hassle of renting a car. Was the bus navigating fairly easy? I'm up for anything, but I'm traveling with my mom and she can be a bit of a chicken sometimes :laughing:

Wasn't too bad, I believe the last bus you get on is on Beach Blvd...

Is there any way to get to Manhattan Beach? Is it far? DOes anyone know any websites for the public transport by DL? Thanks!
