:wave: Even though I said WDW as the place that I will mail the pin envelope from, I don't know of a post office on site, where they will weigh and give delivery confirmation. Is there one? I know a post office just off of Apopka Vineland road, not far, but it's not on Disney property.

The memories store in Downtown Disney has a post service inside that will weigh your mail and then it gets the Disney cancelled stamp. I don't think it is a Post Office, so they may not offer DC.

Hello!! I did receive it on Saturday, but I've been swamped with my daughters' dance recitals...I'm still trying to recover!

Anyway I got a great package from Pooh67_68!!
Here's what I got:
A Sorcerer Mickey Pin (DS claimed that one)
Mickey and Minnie in a heart pin (DD9 claimed that one)
A Tinker Bell pin (DD15 claimed that one) - you see a pattern here?!?!
A blue with lime green Mickey Head pin lanyard (another DS claim)
A red, white and blue Mickey head cell phone charm (DD15 again)
A Pooh Bear diary (At least I think it was Pooh- DD9 claimed that FAST!)

OK- here's what I wouldn't let them have:rotfl:
A Mickey key chain with photo holder
A small Mickey spiral Notebook...perfect for my pocketbook!
And my FAVORITE of ALL: A DISboards pin!!! I LOVE this!!! It will be placed prominently on my lanyard!! It's so cool!:love:
My kids tried to steal that but ... well let's just say I wouldn't let thempirate:

Ethan got his exchange today and had a great time checking out his goodies!

He sends a huge thank you to Alex (AlexWyattMommy) for his 4 pins. He loves his donald pin so much. He has had it on his shirt for the last bit here..lol He also got a pooh head pin, a mickey head mexico flag pin and a minnie pin. He won't let me put them on his lanyard yet as he is carrying them around the house..:rotfl: He is so excited to have some of his own pins.

We are transitioning addresses as I resigned from my job at the end of the school year and will be starting at a new one in August. I did check the old one today (where we got the dollar store exchange), but did not make it to the new one to see if any of our pins arrived. I will be checking it in the morning though as I want to go work on my classroom.

All my stuff is boyish..lol I need something girly to send to one. ;) Doing my best to get them all together though and dh should drop them off at the PO on his way to work tomorrow. I hope I do a good job picking for everyone. I have come to realize we don't have that huge of a variety. I need to buy a huge lot off of ebay to take on our Sept trip or I am not going to have a thing to trade on..lol

I had the same problem, but the opposite...lol...All of ours were girly...I just went with the most neutral I could...If others are like me, I'm just as excited to get ones I don't really like as ones I do....that means I have some to trade. :lmao:

Alex got his package from snowwhitesmom today.

Inside he found two wonderful pins...

Disneyland It's a Small World (thank you, now that song is stuck in my head. :lmao: )
Mickey driving the WE ARE DISNEY train.

He also found animal alphabet stickers, a lime green HD Mickey head paint chip in lime green and a beanie baby of Pegasus from Hercules. He loves the part were baby Hercules head bonks the baby Pegasus and when they grow up, Pegasus head bonks Hercules.

sorry for the late reply - my laptop is broken and had to borrow inlaws pc - i sent my 2 sets of pins out to the states airmail on the 15th, so hopefully they wont take too long to arrive.

I also recieved my first set of pins, in the mail today, but since I am out of town and cannot remember for the life of me who sent them, or what the pins were (maybe goofy) (my memory is like a sieve at the moment) but did get a lovely pencil and postcard along with the pins. If this sounds like you then THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, I dont mean to sound ungrateful I remember thinking the pins were lovely - just cant eactly remember them at the mo, my life is sooo stressed just now.

Someone in Indiana DID receive their pins today! YEAH! :cool1:

I checked the mailbox several times today (you know how it is :) )and then we were gone for a while and when we came home, I looked again and there was the package! My DH chuckled every time I went to the mailbox to see if the mail had come yet. :)

Fires Grumpy Danny sent me a Disneyland Mickey ears hat pin, a Disneyland dancing Mickey with a straw top hat pin and a Mickey pin on a cardboard picture of his house. So cute! My DH actually took that one and said he'd keep it for me! I don't think so! :laughing: Thank you so much, Fires Grumpy Danny. They are great.

Another pin day today! :cool1:

I had been out this morning visiting family and such and I thought I would see if maybe there were some goodies in the mail box and I opened it up to see two packages waiting..hehe

Landon got a package from Tinknme. Inside were 2 very cute pins! He got a cute baby nemo pin and a Sorcerer Mickey Epcot pin! Both are so cute. I have always liked that Epcot one! He also got some pooh and mickey wallies! We love it all! Thank you so much!! :hug:

I got my package from snowwhitesmom. I got 2 great pins. The first which I am of coarse crazy over is a special from Kellogg and is of the Happiest Celebration on Earth. It has Goofy, Donald and Mickey in teacups! I love it b/c I adore teacup pins!! The other is a cute Tink pin with a May Birthstone in it. She also put in a Herculees beanie, a HDLGMH, and a mickey shape cutter. I love it all! Thank you so much!! :hug:

Wow!

After a not so great day at work I came home to two parcels - one was all the pins for me to send on to my exchangees (after writing this I'm headed to the Post Office with them) and one of my exchanges from SnowWhitesMom!

I literally shrieked with delight on seeing a fabulous Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum pin! They are sitting in a tea cup and just wonderful! Will take pride of place in my Alice Pin collection thank you so much :) :) I also got a gorgeous Minnie Mouse pin, mini pegasus beanie from Hercules (too cute! Wish I could keep him at work to cheer me up on days like today!), a VMK wristband and two lime green paint sample mickey heads too!

Thank you very much Michelle you literally made my day! :cheer:

I received a Steamboat Willie pin and a Happiest Celebration Disney bus pin.

It's really cute in box and in lid it says something to effect of if found return to captain hook. I happened to find it on ebay for cheap and seeing as Captain hook is his favorite villian I jumped on it.

Another Disney Day!

I'm considering myself quite the lucky DISer having received my 2nd exchange today and its another great one :)

Kimbac sent me three gorgeous pins, Stitch as a pirate (yarr!), Stitch lazing on a pillow (with Lilo squished beneath!) whilst drinking coffee (too cool and I didn't have it yet so thanks!) and a beautiful Alice and the Mad Hatter pin which looks like a USA stamp which I adore!

Thank you very much Kim, I now have quite the collection of Stitch and Alice pins! I'm tempted to get photos taken and brag :teeth:

Also thanks for the Winnie notepad and sticky notes, they'll come in handy as I work in a school.

Cameron got both of hers. I can't tell you who each specific pin was from because she ripped into both of them so fast that I never saw which came from which.....:rotfl:

But she got 4 pins: a Tinkerbell in front of a big T, a Mad Hatter on a 2002 calendar, a really cute minnie mouse, and a beautiful castle.

She also got some princess stamps and pencils, a mickey sticker and a Dory keychain! These were from Amanda Coley and Garrett Corbin!!

Oh we are the same way! I LOVE doing these exchanges but then I realize how hard it is to part with the pins we have..lol DH is 10 time worse than me though..lol He found reasons why each and every pin was special and we should not part with them..haha I said, well ebay here I come.

I loved that deal though b/c I got them for $2 a pin and I just can't afford to spend more than that. Normally the lots that are $2 a pin are just the random lots and those people sometimes don't have good feedback so I was excited that he had such a great lot like this where it was certain pins and not just random ones for such a good price. I wish I could have bought his other lot too..lol

How many of those do you want to bet we are going to want to keep?? We are going to be in Disney for 9 days and have nothing to trade on.. :sad2: I think I am going to have to try to manage to get another lot before going..haha

I rec'd two yummy jelly suckers. I have always wondered how those are -- and know I know because I chowed down Ariel already. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: yummy. I like jelly candy.

I received two wonderful pin packages today!
Big hugs and thanks to UKDISNEYDREAMER and DJT:goodvibes
UKDISNEYDREAMER sent me a neat POTC pen, two adorable princess pops, and two pins - a great "E" from the Incredibles pin and a cool Edinburgh pin with Mickey!
DJT sent me some fun stickers and a notepad, both Pooh themed AND her "one to give away" pin from Disneyland[I feel so special] and a cute Mickey one!

I don't trade either Heidi, I just can't part with any of my pins! I just added my DLP pins to my 2cd lanyard(I know I have some catching up to do with most of you lol)& they look so nice with my Tink collection :goodvibes

The biggest reason I have not traded in the parks.... I am afraid of the CM. Seriously I don't like walking up to total strangers and talking to them, no matter how friendly they seem.

I will trade with ya all though, so if you wish to do another exchange before November, then count me in.

I was the very same way, and I am not an outgoing person AT ALL. It's never been very easy for me to talk to people, much less a perfect stranger. :scared1: However, I decided that I wanted to look at the pins the CMs had on their lanyards so I just bucked up and started walking up and asking nicely "May I see your pins?" After doing that a few times, it became so easy to do. Many of the CMs are just as eager to look at the pins on my lanyard as I am to look at the pins on theirs. They sometimes know information about the pins I have and it's really interesting. :woohoo:

Maybe if you tried it a few times, you'd enjoy it and you wouldn't think twice about it again. It's now such fun that it's a big part of why I go to WDW!

Me, too! Me, too! :dancer: I'm in. I should have some more pins by then. It's so exciting. I may have to try to talk my DH into it, too, or maybe I'll just put his name in and list what he likes. He always asks me to collect for him! Pooh and Meriweather, he is like you. He doesn't want to walk up to a CM. He wants me to do it for him, and I do, because I enjoy it and I try to find pins that he likes such as cars, Cars-the movie characters- (which I also like) and motorcycles. He doesn't have a lanyard or a pin book. I put his pins on one page of my pin book. Of course, that way I get to enjoy them myself. ;)

It's not that I would mind going to a CM....I just don't want to trade mine.
I don't wear them to the parks. I leave them home and then just buy more.

I also have 2 boxed sets, and the ones on my lanyard.

The first boxed set is a wooden box with a metal inlay on the top and it reads: 2000 Cast Holiday Celebration Walt Disney World.
There are 5 pins and they are decorating the world with a ribbon that reads the same. The pins are Dumbo, Donald, Mickey standing on Pluto's back, Goofy and Timothy the Mouse.

The second is a blue cardboard box and it reads: 100 Years Of Magic Walt Disney World Share a Dream Come True.
There are 4 pins and they are painting the 100 of the logo.
The pins are Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald.

This is Garrett's hat that he wears at Disney. It has Winnie the pooh characters on it & he has a pin to go with each character. I could not get a good picture, so you can't see them all. The hat has 2 Winnie the Poohs, Christopher Robinson, Piglet, Roo, Eyeore, 2 Tiggers, Owl, Rabbit, & Hefalump(is that the correct name?)

On our last trip in Oct. Garrett came across the dessert Chip & Dale pins. He traded for 2 of them & we just could not find the other 2. On our last night we were in the gift shop at AKL & one of the CM's had the last 2 that he needed! I don't know who was more excited, me or Garrett lol It was a perfect ending to our wonderful trip.

The Fantasia broom pin I found at the Disney store. I bought one for Garrett & Riley. I really like it as well, so Riley gave me his :goodvibes

The boys really like collecting CM pins, so tonight we were looking at different auctions to complete some of their sets. Wow I could go broke lol But the boys love it & I get so much joy out of seeing them trading at the parks.
