Is there still an opportunity to see Mater & McQueen in CA park? Is there still the pre parade before Block Party?

We're going September 12-17 and was really hoping the boys would get to see Cars.

Mater and Mcqueen are no longer doing appearances in DCA. THis was confirmed on my visit this past weekend. It ended about two weeks ago.

I don't know about the preparade, but I hadn't heard anything about that on my trip.

Sorry. We were disappointed too.

they been having some trouble trying to get the cars running. not sure the problem.

they should be still on the list.

I e-mailed DL last week to find out about McQueen and Mater appearances and they replied telling me they were still going on. Then I read this post and decided to call to find out if they're still around or not. I just got off the phone and the CM told me that they are no longer doing those appearances and they aren't coming back. I am soooo bummed!!! :sad1:

As of today, June 07, Mater & McQueen no longer be driving out at the Golden Dreams.

WHY you may ask!!!

Because they have a pernament home now. ^_^

Albort, what do you mean?

According to several DCA CM's I talked to on Sunday, June 3, they haven't been out for at least a week or two. Once CM mentioned possibly adding them as a permanent exhibit by Soarin, but he had no idea when that would happen.

yeah, thats what i meant. Pernament home.

Its already there. I was working a cart near there and saw them.
