I'd be going by myself.. my first big adventure on my own (unless you count business trips :) )

After many wonderful offers to be members personal shopper I stuck up a deal with one of our own. She has made the reservation in may name we worked out all the detail I am leaving with what I want. She is getting what she wants and I think it is WIN/WIN for both of us.

I may have to see if I can do this all year. Al I really wanted was the free lanyard and pin and the non princess pin. And yes there is a character breakfast and I am going. Let me know if I can pick you up at the airport or help in any way Lauri.

Just get out there on I-95 Southbound, Thursday night, 2/21. We should be by between 11 PM and midnight. You can just hop in the back with the rest of our crew. :D

So, in answer to your question, we are all going to the event, and the breakfast too! That will be me, DH, DS#1, DS#2, and DD.

Never thought i could say it but........ we are!!!!!!! happens to fall during our President's week winter vacation. ........and we get to join Leslie for the character breakfast and pin event. We are really looking forward to a wonderful day!!! :bounce:

I'm going and so is Figment2 (it's her BIG B-day and we are going down to celebrate--------wasn't it nice of them to plan a pin event that weekend?) and a few other Dis'ers seem to be joining us for a "Girls Weekend".
I believe, to date, it is Cyndi (Figment2), Sorcereer, Sorcereer's Mom and NorwgnMickey! Whooooopeeeeeeeeee we are going to have a ball of our own!!!!

We were getting so excited...we were talking about it today at MK..so pls set us know if there
is anything we can do..

and we aren't going to the breakfast..w/ another event for each of the next 2 months, we are going
to save our money for pins instead of food...no pin for the breakfast...

Hi Donna.. The problem is we were going to get me the ticket using skymiles on Delta. There were no available seats on Sunday for the Orlando to Atlanta leg of the trip. If we had to buy the ticket instead of using skymiles it would cost $278.. a little too high for a weekend trip. There are flights out of airports that are 1-2 hours away that are half that but the hours are outrageous.. leaving at 6am.. coming in at midnight :( :(

Have you tried to see if any flights in to Sanford airport??
