And if so, how much?

We did the holiday tour last november, and no one in the tour group tipped the guide. Lots of thank-you's and a few hugs but no tips for the tour guide.

Most Disney employes are not allowed to take tips, other then in table service restaurants. At least that is my understanding.

I have an idea that the previous poster is correct about the CMs not being able to accept tips, but I bet they would love to have a compliment left for them at City Hall. I wish I had known to do this last year when we went on a Holiday Tour. Our guide deserved one, but I hadn't learned the process yet.

We always make an effort to fill out a comment card because the cm's really work hard to make our trips enjoyable and some really shine brighter and deserve recognition.

I have always tipped the DLR tour guides in the past, but when I tried to tip the tour guide at WDW, she told me she couldn't accept it. Not sure if the 'no tip' policy is also in affect at DLR now, but I have tipped in the past. ($5 per person, not alot , about 10% of the tour price, just a 'thank you')

I didn't tip my tour guide and no one else in the group did either.
There were a lot of thank yous though:)

They are not allowed to accept tips but I am sure they appreciate the thought.

I guess we'll attempt to tip anyway.

Maybe tip them with a pin? See if they'd be able to accept it.
