prison break is the latest US import to be poached from tersstrial tv over to sky :mad: :mad: :mad:

i won't cope without a regular fix of wentworth miller :sad1:

OH NO!!! this is terrible news!! I love that show, although to be honest I have been known to download them if I have missed it. They did that with Lost didn't they so I doubt that we will get to see that now either!

We have just spent the last couple of weekends watching series 1 and 2. Thought it was slow to begin with and much preferred series 2.

Ive heard a lot about this programme but have never seen it, its good then, yes?? Whats the background then girls??

We only caught the first season on repeat.

Based on what it says on the Fox website this is season 1

Convinced that his wayward brother LINCOLN BURROWS (Dominic Purcell) has been wrongly convicted of the sensational murder of the Vice President’s brother, which landed him on Fox River State Penitentiary’s death row, a desperate MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Wentworth Miller) attempts a daring bank robbery in order to get himself incarcerated in Fox River with Lincoln. Michael, an engineer with access to the prison’s structural design, then masterminds an elaborate plan to free Lincoln by pulling off the ultimate PRISON BREAK. He is aided by an intricate tattoo of the prison’s blueprints covering his upper body.


Season 2 takes the story further which you can probably guess the basics of!

Wentworth is easy on the eye and his brother not bad either! I was facinated by how he uses words and images on his tatoo to remind him of parts of his plan - he is one smart guy! It can be violent in places (as I guess you'd expect from a drama where most of the characters are guilty as charged of their crimes!)

I didn't like the look of it origianlly but got gripped! You can rent the boxset in Blockbuster for about £5 if you fancy a look!

It's excellent, and I am soooo annoyed that Sky have done this. We don't have Sky, and this is now yet another series (like Lost) where I won't be able to see the rest of it unless I buy the DVDs, which I don't really want to do :mad:

I agree it's a conspiracy! I will have to get my friend to record it for me!

Even better! We are currently getting through Sleeper Cell and Supernatural (for DH!) as we missed them on TV. On-line rental is great isn't it!
