does anyone have any pics of the giant oreos, and marshmallows you can create at this shop as a snack credit? i am wondering if they look ok, and are easily transported to be used as gifts for those back at home? thanks

Sorry no pics but I can tell you that the hand dipped goodies are placed in a white box and sealed with a Mickey sticker.

If you are careful, I am sure you can get them home.

go to the restaurants board, find the pictures thread aka the food porn thread, and do a search

DD5 made the pretzel rods and the marshmallow stick. She didn't eat them all that night and wanted to take them home. We flew. Two of the pretzel rods broke and the marshamallow stick sprinkles flaked off alot. Fortunately Dh suggested we put the boxes into a little baggie so that nothing got on our things. They give you a little check list and give your selections to the candy maker. The marshamallow stick has 3-4 large white marshmallows strung on a mickey silly straw. The straw is straight and then bends into the shape of mickies head to make a nifty handle. 1 marshmallow stick, 3 pretzel rods or 1 large oreo equal 1 snack credit each. You can also make your own sugar stick which DD5 loved to do. You pick out the tube and add the different colors of sugar sand in patterns and but a neat little top on it (1 snack credit)

Oh you'd be the prize of the play group bringing back sugar sticks for all of DD or DS's little playmates. I'm an aunt and would actually do something like that!!! My nephew would love me more, I could blame it on using up the snack credits, then leave. :rotfl2:

I'll be long gone at snack time...:scared: I'm not evil, really I'm not. :guilty:

That's just wrong. Hey who said that?

Here are a few pictures from our trip 5/12-19:

My DS12's Rice Krispie treat, with milk chocolate, butterfinger, caramel drizzle, crushed peanut butter cups and rainbow sprinkles....

My DS8's Oreo, filled with chocolate fudge, dipped in milk chocolate, and covered with chocolate and white chocolate chips:

And my Mom's pretzels, all dipped in milk chocolate, one with sprinkles, one with peanuts, and one with the mini chips:

My dh and I split a rice krispie treat too, but I don't have that picture uploaded. It was dipped in milk chocolate and then in crushed oreos (they made it look like Mickey ears...cute!)

Great use of snack credits, because they lasted 2 days (or longer!) Way too sweet to eat all at once, especially after a huge dinner with dessert!

We brought back pretzels and rice crispy treats and they did fine on the plane home. They were wrapped iand placed in a white box .
Plan on bringing home more next trip, they were a big hit!
I only tried the pretzel rods while there( we liked it so much we went back again before leaving) but when we got home I tried a piece of the rice crispy treat that was dipped in white chocolate and had mini white and semi sweet chips, crushed up reeses and caramel drizzle and it was wonderful!
