I know a while back I read a tutorial someone posted on how to put pictures into letters, the way several of the designers do names. I can't remember how to do it, and I can't find the thread! Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

I've been playing around with this, and Have been getting pretty good results. the only problem I am having is that I can't find any fonts where the letters are close together like in everyone else's examples. Is there a way to adjust how close the letters are in Photoshop Elements?

Also, what font's have you had good results with?

Thanks for the help!

Sorry, but I don't know anything aboutth eother programs people have asked about!

To do this in Adobe Photoshop Elements:

1. Goto the Edit Menu and click on Preferences then General.

2. Check off Show Asian Text Options.

3. Click OK (Upper Right).

This will set up the Text Options button (has a T/ and a down arrow) with an option which on mine is Mojikumi. After selecting the text you check off the Mojikumi box and adjust the closeness by increasing the percentage.

I used the tutorials and I learned how to do the name thing. :woohoo: Pretty Cool!

Now, can you tell me where to get all of the neat the Disney backgrounds that have been used?

If I get a chance I'll see if I can figure out how to use Photoimpact when I'm at work tomorrow. If memory serves transparency is not an easy thing to do with that program.

Here is a link for the Photoimpact tutorial. I am not sure which version it is for, but I used it for pro ver. 10, so maybe it will work for all. Hope this helps

thanks,

Google images. Or use any search engine. They all have a selection where you can search for images. Try search terms like disney wallpaper or disney backgrounds. There are countless things available. You can also use disney clipart.

I use Google Images to search for images and clipart. Also, the tips thread at the top of this forum has some links for Disney clip art. Someone else on here mentioned MSN images, but I haven't tried it yet.
