Ok we are going down to US/IOA on the 25th and staying at HRH. I have seen others mentioning parking at PBH instead of HRH because they have a parking deck. Has anyone else hear parked at PBH instead of HRH? Also...is it a long walk from HRH to PBH? Should I park over there and jump on the boat to HRH? Thanks!

You can't get the boat from HRH to PBH, you'd have to go to Citywalk first. Parking seems to be worst on the weekends.

I know you cant get to HRH from PBH without going through Citywalk. What I am trying to find out is if it is ok to park at PBH even though we are staying at HRH, and if the walk is far from PBH to HRH.

IF you are going to PBH for dinner they charge hourly for parking. When you go into self parking you receive a ticket at the gate. They could charge hourly parking if you weren't staying there. The walk from PBH to HRH is over a quarter mile and might be closer to a half mile.

Please don't do this. You are taking spots away from the paying customers at the Portofino.

The parking situation is one of the many factors in making your decision on which resort to stay at. If you want the parking structure, I would advise you to make your reservation at the Portofino and not the Hard Rock.

Besides, I couldn't imagine being in one resort and having my car 20 - 30 minutes away.

We never use our car when we go to Universal. I had read here that some had parked at the PBH even though they were staying at HRH because of the parking deck. Since the walk is that far I guess it will be parking at HRH! We arrive VERY early on our check in day so hopefully parking wont be an issue.

Actually, if the spots are all full at HRH, you can be instructed to go and park at PBH. Don't fret about it. It seems to be Saturday night when there is a wedding or prom or something going on that there seems to be an issue. Just don't go out on that night.

Thanks Damo! We will arrive on June 24th but will be staying at the Country Inn Suites. We will be at HRH about 8am on the 25th. Hopefully the parking will be ok then.
