Question For My Fellow DIS Pals

I know this has nothing to do with Disney but I just have to ask all of you what do you think. My Family and I have the oportunity to go to Hawaii this summer. Concerned about flying.. Is it still safe? What would you do? Thanks in advance !!!!:D :D

Fio-I know we are all a little afraid to fly since 9-11, but you asked for opinions so here's mine. For me, it wouldn't be a very hard decision at all. HAWAII HERE I COME!!!

Would I be a little nervous, sure. But I was nervous about flying before. Now that there's been even more regulations about checking bagage, I'm feeling a little more secure.

Go- and take me with you! LOL

I think given all of the new security regulations,the sky are safer than they ever were.GO and enjoy yourself!

This may not be a popular reason. After the attacks I became very defensive about our trip to WDW (Last October). I felt, still do feel, that one of the few ways for me to help fight is to continue with our plans. I won't let them change my life or make me and my family afraid.

I feel that the airports are safer now than they have ever been before...yes there still could be improvements. I would go ahead with your plans....A'loha!!!

I have flown twice since 9/11, and I am not going to let "them" win by keeping me and my family from enjoying life as much as possible. :) Go for it!

So, which island? We had a blast on the Big Island, about 2 years ago. Lovely place! Kauai was nice, too.

I agree with Dave completely. I'm not willing to allow those terrorists to rule my life through fear. We have already flown since Sept 11 (went to DIS-CON :D ), and although I ws a little apprehensive, everything was fine and we were SO GLAD we went! :bounce:

If it were me, I would definitely go, but that's just my 2 cents worth. :)
