My best friend acts like she's from 'the street' a lot, saying 'Wasssuuuuuuup' and 'freak out' all the time. I know it shouldn't bother me, but sometimes it can just get really annoying!! I don't know how I could tell her or if I even should. I know her mom doesn't like it either!

People from the street don't say waaaaasssuuppp, and they have never said freak out. "Sup" on the other hand is normal greeting for young Americans from the finest gated communities, to the worst ghetto slums. "Sup" is nearly universal, it is not for "people from the streets."
