There is a place down near Jaws in Universal that sells funnel cake :thumbsup2

In IOA, I believe there is a place on the left just after you pass under the bridge (before you cross into Marvel Super Hero Island) that sells funnel cakes.

Make your own for that quick fix....

Amish-Dutch Funnel Cake recipe

1 egg
2/3 cup milk
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 tablespoon baking powder

Heat deep fat to 375 degrees F.

Beat egg and add milk.

Sift sugar, flour, salt and baking powder together. Add egg and milk mixture and beat until smooth. Pour batter into funnel, holding finger over bottom. Allow batter to run out of funnel into deep fat. Make swirls in fat from center out. Cake may be made to size wanted. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Serve with confectioners sugar.

Deep Fryer = Deep Fat....

Fat is what makes the world go around.... Fat is what makes everything that tastes good.... taste good.....

Here in Pa they cook the best potato chips in lard....way old school but way good also....

Oh that place also has an awesome hot fudge sundae type thing too. I got one and after a while my friends asked me to stop saying how good it was with each bite. :goodvibes Will be part of my must have eats from now on.

Gemma, probably the easiest way to describe it is kind of like a fried batter cake - very much like fried yorkshire pudding. It is often served with strawberries and cream or ice-cream or fudge sauce or even just powdered sugar. It is very nice but extremely sickly and very filling. DH and I normally share one and that is just enough for us :)

ETA: It kind of looks like a spiders web, it's made up of lots of 'strings' of batter rather than one big lump.
