Hi,
My wife mentioned something about little or no taxes on clothing purchased in Pennsylvania, is that righ? Can anybody help me on that.

Correct there is no sales tax on clothing or shoes in Penn.

That's absolutely the case . My wife and I have stopped at Grove City outlets (Prime) in Grove City PA each of our last two trips on the drive down .
Between the higher value of the CDN dollar and the lack of tax on clothes there is some big savings !!

My Mom and I have made a few weekend trips to Erie, PA just for that reason! Have fun shopping!:yay:

Also just in case anyone is going through Conneticut, I know about 5yrs ago and from what I heard there is NO tax on kids clothing under $75 either which when I went back then it was AMAZING deal LoL even with the exchange rate

In NY there is no state sales tax on clothing under $110 - the only thing is, there may be a county or local sales tax - in Erie County (Buffalo) it's 4.25%.

NH has no sales tax (except on meals and lodging).
