Loews status upgrades

Lately I have read on several different threads about getting upgrades from blue to gold. I recall one was if you had a certain status with HHonors. I did, but since I haven't had a qualifying stay for 12 months, they dumped all my points :mad: :scared: :sad2: :headache:

Any other way to get upgraded?
