Advice please on walking distances from Grand Californian

We are staying at the GC, and we want to do EE, so time is of the essence and I wondered how long it would take to walk from the hotel to the Disneyland gate? I have two teenagers to drag out of their beds, so every minute counts! :rotfl:

Also, how far to DTD, as we may book a restaurant there?

It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the gate depending on where in the hotel your room is.

The hotel is in the middle of DTD.
