There's an excellent exchange rate offer this weekend ($2=£1) and I'm trying to work out who needs paying cash /travellers check for the balance - anyone help me to confirm, please?
I have to pay:
Rev Jack Day - guess he'd prefer cash? Payment on the day?
Randy Chapman - cash or TC? Payment on the day?
A Magic Moment - cash or TC? Payment on the day?

We're having Disney for everything else, so we'll settle that with credit card as it has to be paid 30 days prior?

Thanks in advance!

I paid all mine up front before the day as i didnt want to be worry about anything on the day.

I paid Randy and STVS on credit card and got cash for Rev Jack/Hair and Makeup and for tips!

thanks Laura!
Might pay Randy before (by c/c), but only '*** I trust him! Do you think there would be any problem paying Rev Jack and a magic moment by $ travellers cheque? Really don't want to have to carry too much cash around if at all possible.

Not sure to be honest! I just made little tip envelopes before i went with their names on, and gave them all to the best man who took care of the tips! My wedding planner offered to do this too!

Is the offer still on for the £1 = $2, if so where did you find it?

Thanks

Thomson travel shops were doing it this weekend.

soory, it was only Fri to Sun, but sounds like most shops ran out waaay before that! There are rumours that Thomas Cook will be doing it again soon (they did it last weekend) so it might be worth keeping an eye out at your local Thomas Cook and Thompsons - they seem to start on a Friday morning, and the T&C's seem to be min £1,000 and max £3,000 but they don't seem to get advance notice so only have their standard amount of stock - hence running out early.
