When do they show the Main Street Electrical Parade? I will be there in August, and PRAYING it will be shown. Nothing posted about it on the official site...

Most likely it will be shown all of August through Labor Day and on weekends. Also it case you are confused, it is not called the Main Street Electrical Parade anymore because it is not shown on Main Street. It is presented at DCA and is simply called the Electric Light Parade.

Duh me...I knew that! I just looked at the July schedule and it seems it is shown every night!!:yay: I imagine the same would be for August as well when the schedule comes out. Is it the same parade they have shown in WDW??

It's been a while since I have seen the EP, but as I recall they are similar, but easily two different parades.

Not to be legalistic, but it is officially called "Disney's Electrical Parade". There is no "light" in the title. Not that I'm a fanatic or anything. . . :lmao: :wizard:

Ok, I have a complete addiction to Disney's Electrical Parade. It is the main reason I go to DCA. I once downloaded the song(it's 11 minutes long) because I missed hearing the tune. Anywho, the parade is the same. You still have the snails and bugs that trundle around, you still see Pete's dragon, the courtiers still dance under the canopy. The difference? The name. That's pretty much it. I LOVE IT! Is it the end of July yet?

Sorry, I just always thought of it as ELP, but I gues it's DEP.:confused3 :)

haha, I have the song from the DEP on a cd in my car and when ever it comes on, I cant help but dance in my car:rotfl: i LOVE that song:goodvibes
